My Seventy-something mom recently got her first computer! I'm so impressed at how well she's learned to maneuverer though the internet and use email. She is also our biggest follower, even though we never update, so since she's been so diligent at learning how to use the computer I thought I should probably start catching up on our blog since that was a large part of why she wanted a computer. So mom, these posts are for you, to catch up on all the goings-on of our girls. Thanks for getting a computer so you can stay close to us. You're awesome and we love you guys! xoxoxo

Nauvoo - Fall Break
Our First Day we visited the Carthage Jail where Joseph Smith was martyred.
This is the Trail of Hope - the path the saints took as they left Nauvoo. It leads to the Mississippi River.
The girls on the shore of the Mississippi River
This is the property where my ancestors lived. The home looks REALLY old, but I'm not sure if was their actual home or just the property.
Walker, (son of Henson) is one of my ancestors. It must have been an infant that died at birth.
Although we had a really fun time, and it was just fun to get away, this trip gave me such a greater appreciation of what my ancestors and all the Saints must have gone through.
