A couple weeks ago we took the kids to the zoo. They also had a petting zoo there. The kids had never been to one before and loved it. Especially Seth, he did not want to leave.

Seth's first word
TOUCHDOWN!

Yup, "touchdown" is the first word Seth has said that actually sounds like a word. All his other words are just noises like eh, eh. Or, total gibberish. His touchdown word sounds like this: Tuh-ow-n. Its so cute! He has said this before dada, mama, bye, hi...anything much more simple. He cant even say those 4 words or come close at all. Tairel has been watching lots of football and teaching the kids to say "touchdown". Seth loves the game of that so much, guess he decided to say it.

Earthquake!
Friday morning, we felt our first earthquake...at least it was my first time feeling an earthquake. It was about 6 in the morning, I barely even remember it since I have been sick and totally out of it. It was 3.8 magnitude and about 30 miles west of us. So we basically just got the wave part. All I remember is hearing pictures rattling and the bed shaking. At first, I thought it was just Tairel moving around but woke up enough to hear him tell me its an earthquake. I dont remember ever feeling one before...glad it wasnt any bigger than it was. I was pretty freaked out once I woke up enough to comprehend what just happened.
This is how many earthquakes in Alaska in the last couple days, crazy huh?

Peyton's 4th Birthday
This year Peyton turned 4! On her birthday, the whole day was dedicated to her. She got what food she wanted, watched what she wanted on TV...etc. Then in the evening...all of her friends came over for cake and ice cream. We had 16 kids here including Peyton and Seth. It was a lot of fun. She loved playing with all of her friends, her cars themed cake (even though she didnt eat it) and all of her gifts.
Our trucks
For those of you who are curious as to what vehicles we own now...lets just say the biggest and smallest truck out there. I never thought we would own 1 truck...but 2? Crazy what life throws at you. Here they are.
This is the family truck...as it is the biggest and holds most people.
This is Tairels commuter truck. Can only fit 2-3 people in the front, so he is the only one that is ever in it. Dont let its looks fool you, it runs excellent and gets 40 mpg! Compared to our bigger truck...which gets less than half of that.
Utah trip
This is going to be a long post. Ill try to keep the pics to a minimum. Last month, August, the kids and I went to Utah for 2 weeks to visit friends and family. We stayed at my moms house and did something almost every day. First off, we just spent time at my moms after a long day of traveling and hung out with aunt Ann and uncle David and kitty Oreo.
Then, we went to Lagoon with aunt Jean, aunt Tashina and cousin Dante. It was just me and Peyton that went, Seth stayed with his grandparents for the day.

We also went to the Zoo with my friend Lindie and her kids, Kaylee, Emma and Talon. Ann came along also.
Over the first weekend we were there, we went to visit new baby cousin Melanie whom the kids have not met before.
We did family pictures with the cousins on Tairels side. Played at a splash park.
Had some company over at my moms for dinner.
The second week, we did a lot more things. We played with cousins.
Played with friends Emma and Talon
Went to Trafalga with cousin Dante

Went to Liberty Park
Went to the Childrens Museum with Heidi, Caden, Taige and Kai
and finally, the Aquarium.
We did a lot and were very exhausted. We were ready to go home, be with Tairel and back to our schedules, but we miss everyone already and cant wait until the next time we can come visit again...or better yet...we cant wait until we get another visitor(s) up here!
