The helper

Cam is more than willing to help with anything that Scott and I are doing, especially if that something is being done in the kitchen. Or if something requires a tool.

Cam helped me make cupcakes the other morning and made sure he told everyone that he saw that day.

I am so glad to be home with him to do these special things. I know that he won't always want to do everything with me like he does now, so I will eat it up while I can. Be attached to my hip forever, precious boy...please!

Riding the train

Scott had a long weekend for the holiday, so we wanted to be sure to be productive and get out and do some fun things. There is nothing worse than having the weekend fly by and you realize you didn't do anything exciting.

On Monday, we took Cam on the frontrunner and then trax to the Gateway mall to have lunch and walk around. Too repeat myself like every post, Cam loved this day!

There was an ugly little dog on the train that distracted Cam the whole time, so it limited the pictures he was willing to take.

Perfect day. Perfect boy.

Sledding

We took Cam sledding for the first time and to say that he loved it is an understatement. There is nothing this boy doesn't enjoy. He could have just walked around in his boots all afternoon and been filled with joy!
We bundled him up, went to 5 stores to find a sled and headed to the church nearby. It was the perfect day to go. It was nice and sunny and the snow hadn't turn to slush yet.

Cam also made his first snowman with Scott and Uncle Robby.

Cam loved to just lay in the snow. He would just lay there and not even wiggle. Sometimes he would even put his face in and keep it there. It was hysterical.

As we were leaving, there was a little hill in the parking lot that Cam thought was fun to go down by himself. After 50 times of this he was finally ready to go.

Bowling

In the winter it is hard to find things to keep Cam entertained, or any kid for that matter. I want to do something outside of the house as much as possible, but not physically be outside in the cold.
I realized while looking at old posts on the blog that it had been almost a full year since we had taken Cam bowling for the first time. I remembered how much fun he had and thought he would love it even more now that he is older and bigger. So, we ventured out to the bowling alley one afternoon with some of Cam's favorite friends, Alexis and Porter.
Bowling during the middle of the day during the week sure pays off! An hour of fun, dancing and laughter for only $1.00!!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you so much. You are the best dad and I am so glad you are mine. You make me feel so loved. You play the best games of cars and basketball! I hope you had a good birthday and enjoyed my singing. I love you more than my little body can hold.
Amo Daddy!

Go Jazz!

One of Scott's presents for Christmas this year from his parents was tickets to 2 Jazz games. He had 2 tickets to each game and invited me to go with! I am so glad we were able to go as a family. Cam loved it and whenever we drive downtown now, he is looking for the Energy Solutions Arena and shouts,
"I go Jazz game someday!!"

During one of the games, Scott took Cam upstairs to the new play area where Cam got a rub on tattoo (stamp as he calls it!) He was so proud of it and called Grandma and Grandpa on the way home to tell them. He had a hard time washing it off during his tubby. For days afterward he kept asking where it went.

Thanks for inviting us Scott. We had so much fun!
