 We are Mailing hugs to his grandparents. You trace their upper body then he decorates it and it is a "mailed" hug.

 He said he needs a smile and he wrote "Maddox is giving you a hug"

 I made PIE CRUST CINNAMON ROLLS they are made just like regular ones. They turned out soooo yummy

For those of you that have a hard time getting your kids to eat, that would be my 4 year old. We have started having smoothies every morning and at lunch with what ever else we are eating. It is a great way to sneak veggies in and what ever else. I love the frozen fruit(with no sugar) at Sams Club we get the bag of mango's, a bag of Strawberries and then a berry mix with blueberries, black berries and raspberries. Today I made Maddox before school a smoothie out of Mangos, strawberries, berry mix, greek yogurt (No sugar and very high in protien) spinach and his probiotics. He loves it and he ate that and the rest of his lunch. I also do a lot of juicing so we will juice brocolli, kale, and other non blended foods and put the juice in the blender It's a great way to get some healthy food in the smoothie. I also freeze the left overs and put it in ice cube trays with a popsicle stick and that is his after school snack. Try it out and see what fun flavors you can come up with :)

 We have started back on the healthy eating wagon so I made healthy snack totes for our cars. If you are anything like me you will be running errands all day and you or your kidos get hungry and you stop for fast food. This way we will always have water and healthy snacks on hand. On Sunday I restock them.

 I made this weekly menu planner. You write the dinner idea on the paper and put it on the day of the week, then on the back you write what is in the recipe and where to find the recipe. and if you like the recipe you keep it in the little box

We finally got Jaxson's talk box (Dynavox) the bright reflected dot on his head is what moves the mouse on his computer then it speaks after he makes his choices. This is him picking a button that made us all laugh. It was a stinker noise. I have no idea why it is in there but it had us all laughing. I am so excited for him to work and get better at this and soon have full conversations with us.

SoMe FuN WiTh GrAmPy aNd GrAmMy

 I caught my mom and dad having some quality time with the boys before bed and they were starting to miss them, this was the night before they went home. The boy's miss them so much and Maddox would tell Grampy "you are going to stay 2 more day papa"

 Father time came New Year's morning and put treats in our shoes.

 Maddox has always helped me cook since he was a really little. My mom was amazed how well he knows how to use a knife (with supervision) scoop it in the bowl with his knife and he takes it very seriously. He LOVES to cook

So my hubby was cleaning the living room and decided to make us all laugh and put everything on he was picking up. Notice it is all my clothes and hat. Our friend was over and as soon as he put everything on we both started grabbing for our phone. He's so cute.

A little this a little that

 Well it's that time of year to bake and I have sure been cookin. These were yummy oatmeal butterscotch cookies

 Santa left magic footprints Christmas morning. The boys loved this so much. You just sprinkle a little flour down in the shape of feet prints

 Well it looks like RED our house elf will be staying with us. Maddox cried when I said he had to go home. I'm such a sucker.

 Red has been on a break for the last week because he has been sleeping in Maddoxs room. But he's back.

and yummy carmel apples, walmart has the cutest mini apples they were the perfect side. I never made these before I think next time I wont put so much carmel on them cause it was pretty thick, although everything is better with carmel right?

JAXSON'S CHRISTMAS MUSIC PROGRAM

 His class did such an amazing job. I was crying like a baby seeing him up there but also the kids at south high are so supportive of these kids. As we were walking out to go home after the treats in his class that the kids made. Everyone came up to Jaxson to tell him he did such a great job. It is such a wonderful school. Great teachers and staff

They sang songs and rang bells and talked. Jaxson also had everyone in the audience laughing. I love seeing how powerful he is to people and he doesn't even speak. He is such a sweet angel

 They sand all sorts of songs. The vute girl in the middle, through out the whole song would tell everyone to sing with them. It was so cute

 Jaxson made us gifts. A Christmas ball for our tree

 and a Christmas tree, he was so exited to give it to us. He was yelling and laughing as they brought it over

 I thought his was so cute he loves Jax, and sometimes a little much love :)

 ALL the people that work with this class are so amazing. I love each and everyone of them. To do what they do for these kids everyday is such a blessing. My heart is full that we have them and they work so hard for our kids. Jaxson just loves them as you can see in the pictures. Thanks for everything, words cannot say how much you all mean to our families.

 This is our wonderful beautiful and family friend Teresa. We love her so much. She is a strong voice for these kids and their rights to be a equal. She is not scared to be loud when she is fighting for them and these kids deserve that because they are our equals and she holds them there. She has made many sacrifices and it does not go unnoticed. We love you girl
