THEM: Tara, I found this on Pinterest. What!? You aren't on it? Tara! you have got to get on it!

ME: Yeah. yeah, yeah.

THEM: Oh, I got the recipe on Pinterest.

ME: {rolling my eyes} not that darn website again!

THEM: We are making headbands this weekend! You should come! We found the pattern on Pinterest. Have you heard of it? It is the most amazing thing!

ME: {covering my ears} NO!!!! No Pinterest!! I'm not doing it.

In the new Pottery Barn catalog, found the cutest Mercury Glass vases for the holidays. Price? $69. Uh huh. Not on my budget. So I looked up DIY Mercury glass. This is the website I found how to do it. You can find it here. I was so excited to try it!! Here are my results! I am pretty proud of them. When you put a candle in them at night, the light shines thru the cracks in the paint.

On thrusday at work, my teammates and I got into a discussion. About a list. THE list, if you will....

It is always interesting to me about who ends up on my friends lists. I think it is a little bit of insight into their personalities. So, I am sharing my list with you. Here they are in no particular order....

things are still the same in my world, with one slight change....

BLAKE IS GETTING MARRIED!!!

In fact he is taking his engagement pictures right now. Her name is Caitlin and is adorable. She is going to be an amazing addition to our family. What was 5 is now 6. Loving it!

November 12th is the big day. I am having so much fun getting to know her better. She is an absolute doll.

When Blake was born, I was devastated that he didn't turn out to be a girl. I was so hoping for a baby sister. I am 10 years older, and had such plans for her! (of course, I adore Blake and he has been an amazing baby brother)

I remember a tender moment with my Mom when she said, "one day Blake will get married and you will have a new sister then.". This was not the right answer :) I yelled, "He is a baby! He will never grow up and get married...!!!". The day has come, and Mom was right. 24 years of waiting.... I was also blessed with Anna 2 years ago! Things are working out nicely for me.

Goodbye, Diet Coke. It has been a good run...

This week I am going off Diet Coke. I have 2 a day at work. I love a nice cold DC. It really is part of my "happy".
BUT.... I am trying live a healthier life style. More gym days, more veggies. More fruit. Hopefully that will translate to LESS numbers on my clothing tags! :)

the opposite of blogging...

I have been a very bad blogger. Some might say delinquent. And for the 3 of you that actually read my blog (wink, wink) I offer my sincere apology.

Let's chalk it up to "Tara ain't got nuthin to report". Because let's face it friends, there really isn't much to report.

Still working at the same place. Still living at the same place. Still driving the same car. And the purple has officially washed out of my hair. So, What do you think? What should a girl do 3 weeks before her Thirty.... blah blah... birthday?

I was told today that I didn't look my age. Ha ha. I told the person it is the Oil of Olay and the plastic surgery. :) Technically I have not had any work done and and I don't use Oil of Olay. I guess I should take the compliment.

Any way friend, I'm back. And I will try to be better about blogging.
