I love my little girl!

I can't believe how big Izabella is getting, she is starting preschool next week and also starting her 3rd year of dance! Where has the time gone? Yesterday after church I was putting Ezra down for a nap and she wanted to come with me to help. As I was turning on his fan I looked over at them and Izzy was kneeling down next to Ezra's bed and she started to say a prayer with him- she knows when we go to bed at night we say our family prayers. I just stood back and listened and couldn't help but smile, she is growing into quite the little girl! It was one of those moments when you find out that she really does listen to her mommy and daddy and we are able to teach her a thing or two! We love you Izzy!

Mommy and Me...

Over the winter my cute friend Kim wanted to host a mommy and me class once a month for our little ones to get together and have something to look forward too and also to help fight the winter blues and not go stir crazy at home (can you tell how bad I have been at blogging now that winter is right around the corner again). Each month she had a theme with a lesson, we learned some new songs and had an activity to go along for that month.

Here are some pictures of the activites we did over the months. Kim did an awesome job putting this together and Izzy loved going to Kason's house to paint, or play instruments, dance or do whatever fun activity Kim had in store for us! Thanks for some great winter fun Kim and Kason!

Bryce Canyon Part II

The whole reason we started this tradition of going down to Bryce Canyon with everyone is to run in the Bryce Canyon Half Marathon or the 5K. We love this half marathon because it is the only marathon in the whole United States that runs through a national park. Pretty sweet! Also the run is breath taking, (kinda makes you forget that you are running as you enjoy the scenery). Unfortunately this year I was unable to run the half. I trained for 3 months and a few weeks prior to the race I had a muscle spaz on my left side of my back, which pushed my spine over to the right and caused a pinched nerve on my lower right side, needless to say I was in no condition to run that far. :( So I walked the 5k instead.

After the race we always go hiking, this year we did upper creek falls. We found this sweet waterfall and everyone had a great time jumping off the rock.

The water was freezing!!!





The Chappies rode down with us a day earlier than the rest (well the Gardners came the same night as us but didnt get in until 11)so we went and had a bon fire and just enjoyed each others company!



Andrea had knee surgery a few months back so all weekend long we would pass the ice pack back and forth icing our old crippled bodies! :)


I am already looking forward to next year, hopefully injury free so I can run the half! We have such a great time with all of our friends and enjoy this tradition we have started. It is a great bunch of people and I love that I can call them all dear friends of mine!
Also a shout out to my parents to say thanks for watching my kiddos so Ammon and I could enjoy a weekend getaway!

Couples Weekend Get Away

What would you do if you had a fun weekend getaway with 6 other couples and no kids? Well this crazy bunch went down to run in a half marathon or a 5K. Yeah, crazy I know, but so stinking fun!!! I had trained for the half marathon but a few weeks prior did something to my back so with everyone telling me I couldn't run I did the
5K instead, (and barely made that!)
Tonight we are actually all getting together to exchange pictures so I will post more later.

Izzy is a dancing queen!

Izabella had her Christmas performance a few weeks ago. This one is just for the parents to come and watch to see what they have learned so far this year (their big recital is in May where everyone can come and watch.) Izzy loved being in dance and she loves that she gets to take it with her cousin Macie!
