Noah's First Ranger Game!

Back in June, Noah went to his first Ranger game. Interestingly, as I write this I just watched the Rangers give up SIX runs to Boston in the top of the 9th. Big surprise - the Rangers choked AGAIN. Anyway, here are some pictures from his first baseball game. We had a great time. (Although I still think baseball is about 4 innings too long.)

This one's for me

Sooo....getting caught up...

I decided that if I was REALLY good and cleaned up my room I would buy myself a toy. So I did. I was sad to say goodbye to my 8 year old Escape which was purchased by a single mother trying to catch a break some woman who buys and sells cars on Craigslist. Too bad for her I knew her little game and actually ended up getting almost $200 more than I really wanted. Take that, scammer!

Anyway, I bought myself a 2007 Infiniti G35 from Sewell Infiniti. Maybe I would have bought it from Crest Infiniti in Plano if the salesman wasn't such a COMPLETE AND TOTAL TOOL.

At the office

My father is in North Carolina for the summer. Luckily, his temporary replacement does the same amount of work for much less money!

Noah's First Movie (and Date!)

So, we didn't have internet at home for NINE DAYS. Yeah, I know! And I actually had stuff I wanted to blog about, so here I go with the first one.
We took Noah to his first movie a couple months ago. I was actually pretty nervous about bringing a (still) 2 year old to the movies, but he was surprisingly good. Noah's date was Jules (who is a movie veteran) and together they saw 'Earth'. It was a fantastic movie, and the kids did great!
Seriously - how cute are they??

Conversations with Noah

On the way home from eating dinner last night

Noah: When we get home I'm going to sleep on the couch. Does that work for you?

His first John Deere

Noah's 3rd birthday gift from Grinny & Grampy (my parents). We're going to get him a real riding mower next so that he can start doing the lawn.

Noah is 3!!!

Noah turned 3 three weeks ago and, of course, I am just getting around to posting photos of his party. We had his party at home again, but this time we rented a bounce house for the kids. It was actually a very reasonable price - and totally worth it because what kid doesn't like to bounce?

St. Louis

In April, my mother & I headed to St. Louis for a conference. I've never been to St. Louis, but of course my first (and only) thought was that we had to see the Arch (of course!). Lucky for us, our hotel was right across the street from it, so on our last day there we headed over. It's a pretty impressive piece of architecture and made for a few cool pictures (or would have if I knew how to compose a nice photo). Anyway, here a few pics from the trip.
You can see our hotel on the left side of this pic.

We went to a dinner that was sponsored by the conference. Here is the view from our table. (Taken with the camera phone, hence the crap quality.)

To get to the top of the arch, you get in a ridiculously tiny pod (which is supposed to hold 5 people) and take a rickety-ass ride to the top. I just knew some belt somewhere was going to break any minute and we would be stranded forever.

Another view where you can see the ballpark.
