December 2021 Random

december ended up having quite a few random pics to catch up on!

first of all, our sunsets are amazing out here!  and somehow we got one before all the snow came Lol!!!

my bald turkey neck christmas tree with it's messed up decorations . . i'll give you one guess who's fat cat but got up there and layed down up there and messed it all up!  stupid cat!

this was the kids' primary program and colton looking sooo cute and mischievous up there . . he happened to be acting a little mischievous too;)  they always wait til they're up in front of the whole congregation to really turn on the antics don't they?!  Lol, our chorister was sitting in front of us and turned around and said, "he's so cute!"  Lol the little menace!;)

this was colton's christmas program, he's all the way to the right.  he was the cutest thing on earth in his little reindeer antlers!

this was sadie's choir concert.  the best part was that i told her if she sang "fleas on my dog" instead of  "feliz navidad" then we'd give her $10 . . and she totally did it Lol!!!  she was having a hard time holding it together up there and we were absolutely dying in the audience, it was pretty much the best thing ever!!!:)

the kids went over to grandma ruby's and built gingerbread houses, they had so much fun!  thanks grandma ruby, you're the BEST!!!

colton's primary teachers brought him this adorable snow globe.  it was so nice of them and he was so excited.  it was adorable!

shira loves to sit in the tub and bat her orange balls, she's hilarious

sadie played her violin at the christmas tree fantasy.  she was beautiful and did so well!  we love you sadie lady!

i'm not a hundred percent sure what lynlee was up to here, this was her homemade blanket ball gown, Lol and she was dying for us to get a picture . . you're so creative and adorable lynns!

here comes the snow!  it snowed a ton by the end of the month, it was awesome to have a white christmas and white december!

trav tossed the poor cat out into it Lol, she was interested but didn't like the cold on her feet . . crazy, pampered cat anyway!

jake, khost, and colton went to the ice castles in rexburg for jake's birthday.  what a bunch of cuties!

sadie went to her friend emily's birthday party.  i don't remember all the girls that were there but i think aubrey was there, and a few of emily's friends from rigby . . Lol, sadie would have to fill in the blanks on that one . . Lol!!!;)

we built ginger bread houses with trav's family this year too, the kids had a lot of fun!

and we had a new years party, but weren't there for hardly 5 minutes before ryker ended up riding his scooter into the wall and slicing his head open so i ended up at the er with jen for the remainder!  poor little bugger, it was a pretty bad deal!  grandma susan sent me this pic, but it was the only one we got Lol!!!  then we went over to ashley and devin's and played uno and ate food until the ball dropped.  it ended up being a fun new years and luckily mr. ryker ended up fine!

Christmas 2021

christmas was lovely.  our kids are the sweetest things on earth and didn't even wake us up early!  i couldn't believe it!  The little ones got up and looked at their couch really quick to make sure santa came and then went back to their room and played until everyone else got up . . Lol!  They're adorable!  and then i woke up because it was like, 8:00 and we hadn't heard any kids and my brain was confused about why i wasn't getting woke up at 5 a.m.  Lol!!!  i love christmas here!  it's so peaceful and i love our beautiful, christmas-y house that we get to be in and our fluffy white rug in front of the christmas tree, and our sweet little family . . it's just the best!!!

sadie got a ukelele, white docs, and a harry potter puzzle, pajamas, and diamond painting kit

colton got a robo bug, garmin watch, a titanic book and titanic legos, snap circuits, and zombie fish books

lynlee got a bracelet making kit, a garmin watch, an art projector, and some cupcake princess books

aiden got a fox hoodie, air force one shoes, and a mini fridge for his room

and then of course everyone got waaaay too spoiled by santa, our house looked like a christmas explosion!;)

i was really excited too because we found red and green christmas bread at broulims so we made it into a christmas morning french toast feast!  it was the best!!!

lynlee got a lego friends set from grandma ruby and had that thing put together in no time!  she was so excited!  it was her first lego friends set!

after christmas at our house, we went over to my dad and vauna's for a christmas lunch open house and hung out with everyone out there for a little while, it was fun to see everyone!

it was a really nice, relaxed christmas this year and we loved it!  i loooove our christmases together and love our little family soooo much!  merry christmas 2021 my lovies!

Trav and Lynlee B-days

happy happy birthday to 2 of our favorite people in the whooooole world!!!!  happy birthday to our favorite old man, i mean our favorite gracefully aging young daddy;) and our favorite little girl who we love so much!  41 and 9 this year, i don't know how it happens!  the years go by with reckless abandon!

lynlee got some new dresses and sparkly gold dress boots

some new lol sheets, a cute ring, and a waffle maker.  she loves to cook and bake, i always have her to help me in the kitchen!  she's good at it and so much help!

 we laughed really hard at her raging fire inferno cake Lol, we almost had to get the fire extinguisher!;)

we love you so much lynners!  you're such a good girl and bring so much happiness to our little family!  you're favorite things are cooking and baking, and art of any kind.  you get to go to art classes every tuesday and look forward to it every week!  you loooove jewelry and are always well adorned in earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and bows . . i think sunday is your favorite day of the week so you can get all dolled up in your nice clothes and jewelry;)  you're at the top of your class in school and you are such a reader, you may even read more than aiden which is REALLY saying something!  you read books faster than i can get them for you just like he does!  we love having you and colton so close in age, he wouldn't know what to do without his big sissy and you guys have so much fun together!  happy 9th b-day lynns, we hope you had a wonderful day!

on christmas eve (and most importantly, trav's bday;) we went to zac and manami's for brisket and dinner from a really good barbecue place, it was soooo yummy!  they got us a game called throw throw burrito for christmas,which ended sadie hucking it right into aiden's face from a foot away and had everybody laughing so hard that we couldn't even continue . . it was sooo funny!

we celebrated trav's b-day with pink and purple candles in a carrot cake, just like he asked for!  well, maybe not the pink and purple candles, those may or may not have been the only candles we had . . . but definitely the carrot cake Lol!!!;)  he picked out his birthday present this year, which was a new 9mm handgun.  i'm guessing guns must have the same effect on guys as new shoes have on girls because i see the multiple guns he already has and think but why?  and i know he looks at every new pair of shoes i get and asks himself the same thing Lol!;)  i will add here that each gun of his costs the same as like, 6 new pairs of shoes for me so i'll just consider the next 6 pairs of shoes as freebies . . it's only fair right?!

anyway, happy birthday trav!  thanks for being my partner in crime and the absolute BEST dad any kid could ever ask for!  our kids have no idea how lucky they are!  i know how lucky i am though, i picked well all those years ago and still love you like the beginning!:)  probably even more because we've been through some tough stuff over the years and come out even stronger.  thanks for working so hard for our family and being such an awesome person we always know we can count on!  we love you so so much!!  happy birthday!  i hope you have the best birthday ever too!!!
