So long time no post.... you probably noticed that.... Well there is a reason. Todd has been working on his thesis for the last 5 months and hasn't been willing to share the computer and then we accidentally lost our memory card of a lot of pictures... super sad I know.  So for the last couple of months we celebrated Sadie's 3rd birthday!!  It was way fun!  We went to Mcdonalds with all her friends then had pizza and macaroni and cheese for dinner followed by presents and cake and ice cream.  She got a shopping cart which was something she has wanted for a long time.  She also got a care bear cake that I made for her.  It was fun!  We had a great Easter the bunny found us.  We had friends over for dinner.  Oakley turned 7 months and just yesterday had her first tooth poke through!  3 kids is way busy Im am still adjusting.  Sadie is in gymnastics and dance and Ryker is in preschool, tball and soccer.  Then Todd is super busy with school work, applying for jobs, finishing up thesis and work and homework and work,.....did I say work.  He is a busy boy!  Life if crazy busy but SUPER duper awesome !! HOpe all is well for you all!

Ryker Graduated from preschool today!!  My boy is going to Kindergarten its official .... I'm getting old!

Ryker loves to catch bugs and we have been on lots of bug catching adventures lately which is a lot of fun especially because I am such a big fan of bugs  ;)

We planted our garden recently.  Todd did a fine job rota tilling

We have already been having 90 degree weather so the kids have been swimming  a lot lately.  The Easter bunny brought them a new swimming pool so they have invited a lot of friends over to play.

The kids got a new picnic table and have picnics every day they love it!

This was when Todd was watching the kids..... Yeah he let them take bats to the flower tree so that it could "rain flowers!"

We went to Vegas for Todd's nuclear conference and had a blast!!  We took the kids in a stroller down the strip (not such a great idea) -  but it was so funny because tons of people stopped us and was like 3 kids your crazy.  One guy even stopped me and said I needed to slow down and not have anymore kids.  IT was kind of refreshing because if I were to walk down main street in Utah people would be like.... you only have 3 kids. 

Cabin 2012

This years cabin adventure was totally awesome!! We got to eat lots of delicious food play some fun games... one of which was balderdash- key words being Labies and Archies lol-inside joke. We played alot of crowns too. We also got to play outside in the snow, dance to the drums, swim in the lake, swim in the hot tub, and celebrate moms bday! What a blast! There's one thing I know for sure I love spending time with family!

Moms bday- we had carrot cake (thanks Jandy) and homeade ice cream (thanks Todd)

Aunt Jandy made all of the grandkids pajamas with the number that they were born on their shirts. Super cute! The kids all loved them. I think that Jandy did an excellent job. Plus it made these pictures super cute!








SO Saturday started off pretty innocent. We thought we were all just going to go outside and snow machine on the lake with the sled pulled behind the snow machine. So Adam took the kids out and the first thing that happened was the sled behind the machine started to bog down and sink while the kids (Mieley, Adalynn, Ryker) in the sled were yelling we are wet we are wet! The sled filled up with water! The kids got soaked! Well after that we decided it wasn't a good day to play on the lake with the snow machine. I guess we didn't want to sink. But that was okay because we thought of something else to do.






So....... Todd had an idea to start to shovel a hole in the lake.... so he did




Then, Kaden thought hmm ..... I should go get my swimsuit on and get in that hole. Adam was like ya you should!

So Kaden got his swimsuit on and looked at the hole.



And looked some more



Then decided to get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





When he was in the hole he realized... " I am cold I should blow on my hands to warm them up"

so he did
Then he thought. "bummer that didn't work its still cold"






Then Kaden thought........ wouldn't it be cool if I stuck my head under.............

So he did


Then Kaden realized that he was a little cold so he got out and.................

RAN to the cabin's hot tub

Then after he warmed up he thought hmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I should go back and do it again!

So he did!
Then Adam was like..... " I can't let my little brother show me up"............ "plus that looks kind of fun so he took his shirt off and looked at the hole ...........




Then he dipped his hand in.................


Then he dipped his feet in........................


and he thought "wow thats cold"...........

But he didn't let it stop him........



Then he thought " Well Kaden stuck his head in so I should too......"

So he did.......










After that he decided he was cold........

And so did Kaden

So they ran back to the cabin...............


And sat in the hot tub and warmed up and thought to themselves..........

"We are so cool"

And yes the whole time they had a crowd cheering for them......

THe cabin had all sorts of random decorations.. But my all time favorite was ........

THE DRUMS!

Every morning after breakfast we would dance to the drums and get a workout. We did Indian chants and sang HiyiyiyiyiyiHayyiyiyi!

Not very many people appreciated the drum banging except for the kids and Dad and Oakley..



Dinners were yummy we had lasagna, chicken rollups and pizza!!!!! It was fun to be able to sit all on one table.


SO when we were playing outside Todd and Kaden found big icicles. Todd decided he was going to run and charge Kaden with his and fight him,

Kaden was like Im not scared Todd bring it on!


So they fought to the last ice string and of course TOdd won!












I don't know what it is but we had to keep tradition....... of course whenever we get in the hot tub we have to jump in the snow too....
