Halloween Dance

29 Oct

Image This is me and the other YW leaders in my ward. We went to the youth Halloween dance to chaperone. It turned out to be lots of fun and I couldn’t help but remember when I used to frequent dances when I was single. It’s just not the same as it used to be, but I guess that’s what getting old is all about. We are pretty good looking witches though!!

Scary Pumpkin

28 Oct
For FHE last night we carved a pumpkin (well actually Kevin carved a pumpkin). This was Dylan’s first experience and was a little scared of the whole thing.

I’m surprised that we got him to sit next to the pumpkin. He was very hesitant and couldn’t wait to get down.

Image ImageI guess it was a little scary all lit up in the dark. I think Kevin did a pretty good job! And I didn’t even have to get my hands dirty.

Fun at the Park

28 Oct
We have been going to the park a lot lately now that the weather is cooler.
Image Kevin came this time but seeing how he lets the boys do things I wouldn’t maybe next time we’ll leave him at home. At least no one got hurt. I love the look on Drew’s face.

Time flies

23 Oct

ImageImage ImageI cannot believe how big Drew is already. A babies first year of life goes by way to fast and Drew is almost half way there. I have been trying to spend better time playing with my boys when they are awake and saving the cleaning and my personal time for when they are napping or in bed for the night. I am so grateful to be a mommy and to have such great boys!!

Kevin needs your teeth!!

17 Oct

ImageWe are asking everyone who lives in Las Vegas to help Kevin graduate Dental School. You are invited to come for a FREE screening at the dental school. He needs to find the perfect cavities for his licensing exam in February. Everything will be free….who doesn’t like free dental work!!

Image Nothing special to post…..just thought these were cute pics!! We’re still working with Dylan and his smiles. I am going to get pictures of the boys together next month and I hope he can give a nice smile then.

Farm Days

15 Oct

Every year my mom and aunts help run the farm festival for elementary school kids. It’s lots of fun and since I have connections (thanks mom!) I get to take my kids to see the animals too.
Image Aunt Sarah is always willing to help me with my boys. But Dylan did not want to pause for picture with the horses. He loved to drag his feet when he ran to kick the dirt up.
Image But most of all he LOVED the tractor. Just like last year….I had to pull him out of the tractor to leave. He would saty in there all day if I let him.

So here are Drew’s 4 month pictures. He is getting to be so stinking cute!! Some of the things he is loving right now are: being up so he can see everything that is going on, playing with Dylan, being naked, having mommy carry him everywhere, rice cereal, taking a bath, his exersaucer, oh and did I say he likes lots of attention. How can I resist when he is such a good baby!

Clubhouse Disney Live

6 Oct

Image

This past Saturday I took Dylan to clubhouse Disney Live so he could have a special day with just Mommy. He was looking forward to it all week and kept asking to go to the show. Once we finally got there he was running around so excited. It was too cute. He was such a good boy during the show, he just stared in amazement at the stage. They had all his favorite characters there. The best part was our seats. I couldn’t believe how good they were. The worst part was my camera. As you can see this picture isn’t the best but the batteries ran out before I could switch it to the inside option and get him to smile and look at the camera. Maybe you can see how close we were to the stage. It’s so funny to me how the little things can excite me now that I am a mom. I was singing and clapping along with everyone else there. I probably had as much fun as Dylan did……good thing because it cost a pretty penny to go. But definately worth it!!
