1st bubble bath ever

28 Aug
Drew had his first bubble bath ever and he loved it. He just loves taking a bath period. If you even mention the word bath he start taking his shirt off.ImageImage

The boys almost always take a bath together and they are starting to get too wild for me. There is always water all over the floor and I’m afraid someone will get hurt. But it’s just so much easier for me to have them take a bath at the same time.

The River

24 Aug
We found a little place by the river to throw rocks into. It was a hot day so we didn’t stay long though.

Gotta love corn on the cob!

More fun stuff

13 Aug
Here are some more fun pic of stuff we’ve done lately. We found some chalk in the dollar section at Target (I can never seem to walk by without buying something from there). Drew gets so messy with the chalk but he loves the carry the little bucket it came in around and collects the chalk.Image
Image Drew gets around the park fast now and I can hardly keep track of both kids. There are lots of fun parks here though and we go pretty often even though Dylan doesn’t think we go often enough or stay long enough.
Image A bunch of neighbors on our street had a garage sale and we found this little kid recliner for only $5. The boys were always fighting over the little fold out couch so now they can each sit away from each other. Drew loves his blankeys and cuddeling.
Image We love going to Steak ‘n’ Shake because the boys will semi-behave there, it is just up the street and kids eat free on the weekends. Drew will even wear the paper cook hat from there.

Image We went to a fun farm today but I did not have my camera with me. 😦 It was great fun and not just because it was FREE. We’ll have to go again even if it was a drive to get there.

Zoo fun

10 Aug
Here are some pictures of our most recent trip to the zoo. The best time to go is in the morning because I got a great FREE parking spot, not many people were there and the weather was wonderful. Plus the boys were worn out and were quiet on the ride home. That’s a rare thing.Image

Oh What Do You Do In The Summertime…

1 Aug
Image We have been playing outside a lot. July has been unusually cool (so they say). Drew already knows what to do with the ball and bat but he needs just a little practice.

Image

Image Dylan’s head gets sweaty really fast and it never fails that he will ask for a popcicle so his head will cool off.ImageIce Cream!!Image
More Ice cream. That’s why we love summer.ImageImage We were waiting for Daddy to get off work and so we went down to the river. Looks real clean huh. The ducks were fun to watch and all the garbage that floated past us. Drew would have chased them in if I’d let.

Fun Museum

1 Aug
We went to the Children’s museum at Union Terminal in Cincinnati and it was a lot of fun. We went on a free night and I think half the city was there enjoying the free tickets. We wanted to go and check out the place before we bought a family pass though. It is well worth it (once I get a job) and will be even better when there aren’t as many people there. Drew is VERY mobile now and both boys were constantly going in different directions. I should have taken Kevin with me to help keep track of them. Image This was Dylan’s favorite area where there were a bunch of soft rock and construction equipment. He shoveled rocks into wheelburrows for a long time. If only these kids would work this hard at home.ImageDrew really liked the pretend house. He kept giving the baby loves.
Image And of course he liked the pretend food and kitchen. They also had a grocery store and restaurant and he was all over the place there.

Image At the museum center they have a few different museums and a Dinosaur exhibit right now. Dylan likes dinosaurs but I think we’ll pass on that since he was terrified of the little dinosaur museum in Vegas.

Image Drew loved looking at the dinosaurs.

Image Classic Dylan smile. Definately model material.

Image Drew just loves going places and looking around. We can’t wait to go back.
