Beach Babies

The family had a wonderful time in Florida over the Thanksgiving holiday.  My camera battery didn’t last past the first day, so no pictures of family groups and the feast, but I did get some shots of the girls first time at the beach.  The weather was cloudy and misty, but the temperature was warm enough to allow for many fun filled hours of wave catching, castle building, ocean wading, sand digging and tummy flopping.

Thank you Carol and Jerry for having us for the holiday.  We loved spending it with you.

After a slow start to warm up to the sand, Lauren eventually decided she loved all things beachy.  She loved to try and catch the waves in her hands.

Annual Fall Pictures

My friend Emily took some photos of us a few weekends ago.  You will probably find one in your mailbox in a few weeks on our Christmas card.  This year I was determined not to stress out.  Last year I let some unnamed two year olds refusal to cooperate totally ruin the experience for me.  NOT THIS YEAR! Things didn’t go perfectly but Emily managed to get some good shots!

The Pumpkin Patch

While visiting with family in Odessa we took a fun trip to Fiddlesticks Farm.  The morning was quite brisk, but it didn’t keep us from enjoying the fun hayride, pumpkin patch, cow train, giant slide, trampoline, cow milking demonstration, piglet races, goat watching and cow petting. (really, whose fall would be complete without a good piglet race?)
