We think she favors Hayden more with her hair up in a ponytail.
Just so you know…she doesn’t care to have you mess with her hair much. Makes getting the ponytail in an adventure for mom!
Such fun “firsts!”

One afternoon Hayden played cowgirl for awhile. There was lots of galloping, neighing, singing made up cowgirl songs and cowgirl hat wearing. What a sweet lil’ cowgirl!
We got together with Lindsi and Patrick a week or so before their baby girl was due. A great time to catch up!
And then came the baby…sweet Louisa Laine. June 19th, 2011
Stole this picture from Lindsi via Facebook :)
We already love her. Lauren loves to poke her (gently) and repeat “baby” over and over again. Cute. Can’t wait for all these girls to have fun playdates. For now, I will satisfy myself with sweet baby snuggles from Lou.
Thank you Lord for friends. Thank you for beautiful baby Louisa!
Apparently the only way to get back into blogging is to make it a choice between writing a blog or doing housework. Blogging looks more appealing all of a sudden…
Hayden went to ballet “camp” for a week in July. It was for three hours each morning for four days at our local rec center. She had a great time with Ms. Michelle and all the other ballerinas. She enjoyed it enough we figured she would like a weekly class. She is now going every Tuesday morning for about 45 minutes.
She isn’t real clear when you ask her what she is learning. So far we’ve seen some skipping and some other “moves” though the names of them are often lost in translation.
We are glad she is having fun! Hopefully Bryan and my extremely poor dancing skills have skipped a generation…
Thank you Lord for our precious ballerina!
