GIRLS TRIP!!!!! LAVA HOT SPRINGS

So my mom planned this really fun girls getaway for mystelf, kenzie, erin, kara, and herself. We went to lava hot spring Idaho. We stopped at the Bountiful temple on our way up and
then were on our way. Once we got there we had a fun little pool/hot tub to swim around in. It was soooo hot, I couldn't even stay in very long. Then after soaking for a while we walked around town and visited a museum and some little shops. Then it was time for Thai food. My favorite! Then later that night we all hung out and watched movies. That was kinda the routine for nights! On Saturday we went to this cool little town called Soda Springs. There was a geyser that shot up like 50 ft. The water comes out carbonated. Weird huh? There was this little spring area where you could taste the water Kara and Erin did, I'm too chicken. Kenzie was having a blast taking pictures of everything. I could have posted tons more pics. It was fun to have her with us. We left to come home Sunday morning it was such a fun weekend. We plan on making it a little tradition every year. I'm looking forward to next year! :)

Don't worry about what you get back, worry about what you give!!

So I think its about time to give a little shout out to my hubby! I don't do this enough, and I was at a counseling appt. this morning ( yes, I am willing to admit to it) and my counselor was talking about ways to make marriages better. And who doesn't want a great marriage right? But he told me, " Don't worry about what you get you get back, worry about what you give! And even though we have probably all heard this a million times, it really hit me in a different way today. So my focus this week is to try and do nice things for Sebi and not worry what I'm getting out of it. He really does try hard to make me happy, and he has made so many changes since we've gotten married that have improved our relationship. I need to up my effort so that's my goal. Sebi is a great dad and the girls just love him so much. He is a very hard worker, and always says that it's all worth it for me and the girls. I just want him to know how much he means to me and even though it gets tough sometimes that I will always be there with him. Love you babe!

Here are a few pics I found , they remind me of good times we've had :)

IT'S BEEN TOOOOOO LONG!!!

Image So, since it's been ages since I've written on here I will just give a little update. We lived in Texas last summer and came back in September. It's been a roller coaster ride for sure. We are hoping everything gets back to normal soon. We are living at my parents for a couple more months. It's been good but I can't wait to have our own place again.
We found out I am pregnant again and we are very excited. Hopefully we get our boy that we know is just up there in heaven waiting to come down and be with us :)
Sebi is working hard and I'm staying at home with the kids. He would really love to move out of state somewhere, but I think that will have to wait just a little while. Well I wil be posting random pics of the past quite a few months so enjoy..........and hopefully the next post will be really soon!

AAHHHH.....Good Times!

We took the kids to this new park we had heard about. It was alot nicer than the 1st one I found. Kenzie climbed a tree and Taya swung in a swing for the first time. It was really hot so we only stayed for a little while. Plus kenz had found a frog and wanted to go home so she could put it in some water. It kind of reminded me of my brother Ben. :)

" Enjoy the journey "

Image So I decided I would try something different this week. I want to start each week with a thought or a quote that I like and helps me. Maybe it can help you too. My dad always says this one, and I know life get hard and sometimes we just want to give up. But i realized this morning that one way or another we are going to live our lives, and I really want to enjoy mine. My dad told me the other day that I am strong and I can handle the trials given to me. And just this morning Sebi told me that the trials we are given are given to us because Heavenly father knew WE could overcome them and become stronger.
I put this picture because Sebi and I are working on getting to the temple together where we can be sealed together with our children for eternity. That sounds pretty wonderful huh? And someday we really want to go thru this temple. I really don't want it any other way. I love him and my kids. I know that if i pray and give all I have then this will be possible.
The other reason I am trying this new idea of starting the week with a quote is because of an article I read in the Ensign yesterday. It was about sharing the gospel via the internet. We have so many opportunities because of modern day technolgy. I want to do my part. I hope everyone who reads this will take one chance this week to do what you can to share the gospel. Have a great week!

WHOA....I can't believe how much it's raining!!

So we got up a couple of days ago and it had been raining most of the night. Well Sebi and Kenzie wanted to take Taya out to play in the rain. I didn't really want to get wet but I did want to take some pics. So I stood on the porch for a little while and then I just decided to keep the camera under my clothes and follow them. They weren't coming back anytime soon. They ended up going over to part of the parking lot that had majorly flooded! It was pretty cool. Taya loved it for about 30 min and then started shivering. It is definitely warmer rain than Utah but still the wind gets you cold. Kenzie was having a blast too! She ran and got her inner tube and started floating around. We were all soaking wet but it was alot of fun! You just gotta take advantage of these memory building moments. I love to play in the rain, but havent since I was a kid. So even I had a ton of fun :)

Tayas' 1st birthday!! YAY!!!!

Well it was just our little family, but it was fun to celebrate Tayas' b-day together.

Image
She loves this princess wand, walks all around the house carrying it everywhere.

This was earlier during the day, kenzie decided to make her look like Elvis. And Taya really got into character. Don't you think? :)
