April
For Spring Break, we just did fun stuff around town! Del Taco for lunch one day, a visit to Puppy Barn, Hang Time Trampoline Park, swimming, etc.
Puppy Barn: It's this cool place where you can go and pet tons of puppies that they have for sale!
Poor Nolan's neck was hurting him really badly one day, to where he couldn't even straighten it, so Jaime came over to put these electrodes on him. This is the only thing that worked for Jaime recently when he had severe neck pain for a month or so.
Teya really wanted to cut her hair, but I was opposed to it since she had beautiful hair more than half way down her back! Over spring break, I finally took her to get it cut though, and it turned out SOOOOO CUTE!!!
Nolan was reading this book in some weird voice that no one thought was funny except Teya, and it made her laugh so hard that she was crying!

Another day, another trip to Crumbl.

Out on a walk with these cutie pies.
Alexa and Stephan came over for dinner with baby Luke!
I did another one of those health challenges for 8 weeks, and took Tucker on long walks for my exercise some days. I also had to drink 3 liters of water everyday, so I bought this huge 3 L jug.
The challenge went great. My MTC companion Maria was in charge of it, and my old roommate Lindsay, her husband, and my SIL Melanie were all on my team. We didn't win, but I lost 9 pounds and got all of my closets cleaned and organized because of it!
Jared had trenches dug so that he can put in retaining walls for an extra driveway on the side of our house.

March
Still trying to catch up here...
Dallin's basketball game. Dang those were fun to watch!
Playing football in the back yard. (I was playing too, I'm just always the one taking the pictures)!
Dallin playing basketball with some of the neighborhood boys. They call this court "the basketball court".
Dallin and Nolan at the movies for Manti's birthday.
Dallin asks to make cookies most Sundays.
After one of Dallin's games, he and I went to Chubby's for deserts.
Out on a walk one day behind our house with Nolan and Tucker, Nolan found some cool animal bones. We are pretty sure the bottom right picture is a rabbit's jaw bone with teeth in it!
Teya at a YW activity.
One night Jared and I were on a date at Mod's Pizza, my new favorite place to go out to eat, and he suggested we try out Crumbl Cookie, which was next door. THIS WAS A HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!! We were addicted from the first bite and ended up going there, 5 days that first week!!! Help! My favorite is the sugar cookie.

Nolan's 7th Birthday!!!
How the heck is my baby SEVEN YEARS OLD already?!?!? Man time flies, it feels like he was just a baby!!!
For his birthday, Nolan REALLY wanted to have his party at Hang Time trampoline park, so we agreed he could have it there if he only invited 6 of his closest friends, since that was the smallest party package they offered. Here is the front of the invitation I made:
He was really excited about his Etch-N-Sketch and said, "That's what I've been wanting!"
For his birthday we let him decided what he'd like to do, and he chose for us all to go to the park and play basketball together and play on the playground.
He requested Tacos for dinner. Love this cheese ball so much!!!
Some things about Nolan at 7 YEARS OLD:
-He is very confident when he speaks to others, when deciding things, suggesting things, etc.
-He is a natural born leader, he is usually the leader with friends.
-He is a problem solver and often comes up with solutions to any dilemma, even for adults
-He is VERY social; playing with friends is probably the thing he thinks about the most
-He loves video games, much to my dismay
-He is addicted to electronics, despite my best efforts to prevent this! He was born during the smart phone and ipad craze and has always been able to find some sort of electronic device lying around the house to get on. I try and hide them and limit his time on them but it's been a lot more work with him!
-He is only allowed to suck his thumb at night now, haven't tried breaking him of that yet, but still "forgets" and sneaks it in during the day occasionally.
-He is a loud talker and we often have to ask him to lower the volume
-He loves to listen to music and is constantly turning it on on one of our phones
-He loves to play school with Teya
-He is a good reader, about a grade level ahead, reading chapter books now. Surprisingly though he still doesn't enjoy reading on his own!
-He loves basketball and often plays outside on his own or upstairs on our Double Shot
-He loves to make people laugh and often says, "I can make people laugh so easily!"
-He is very strong willed, just so his own person!! I feel like he was born the person that he is and I had little to do with molding him!
-Loves to ride his bike and scooter
-Really enjoyed playing his first season of soccer and was very much a go-getter while playing, which surprised me.
-Not as hard working as Dallin- we're working on this!!
-Wants to be an orthodontist when he grows up
-Enjoys learning to play the piano, the only kid that doesn't give me a hard time about practicing
-Loves his dog very deeply
-He's the most calm and emotionally stable one in our family (cries the least and throws the fewest tantrums).
-Just learned to tie his shoes! (May 2019). I would only buy him velcro shoes before but had such a hard time finding some this time that I bought him lace-ups and Teya and I taught him how to tie.
-He loves his mommy and tells me all the time! We have a little game where we tell each other we love each other more than the other loves us, and say we asked the doctor, or his teacher, or the president, etc., and they told me that I love him more (or he says that they told him he loves me more).
-He loves to be tickled
-He is mostly well behaved in school, his teacher said sometimes he tries to be funny and gets in a little trouble for that.
-He loves school
-He checks the weather every day before school by asking Siri, to see if it will be too warm for pants. He gets, "SO HOT!!" when wearing pants and walking home from school if it is more than like 50 degrees.
-He's just a really great kid! Our whole family adores him and I feel so incredibly grateful every single day to get to be his mama!!

The party host let Teya and Dallin climb in the rock wall area for a little while.
So this girl is the sister to Lindsay Arnold, who was on So you Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars, and her other sister Jensen was just on So You Think You Can Dance. I follow Lindsay on Instagram so I've seen many pictures of their family and recognized her when I saw her at Hang Time. I told Dallin about it and he kept trying to get me to go take a picture with her, but I wouldn't, so he did!
Nolan's actual birthday was the next day on Sunday:
I made his requested waffles and whipped cream for his birthday breakfast.
Headphone set for video games from Daddy.
The only thing he asked for was "something remote control."
He was really excited about his Etch-N-Sketch and said, "That's what I've been wanting!"
For his birthday we let him decided what he'd like to do, and he chose for us all to go to the park and play basketball together and play on the playground.
We put his new height on the growth chart and thought it was cool that he, Dallin and James were all about the exact same height when they turned 7!
I also got this cool attachment I saw on Virginia's blog that turns your hover board into a go-kart. It is so cool and a lot of fun!
He requested Tacos for dinner. Love this cheese ball so much!!!
