Travis has been busy with work and school. He got a new position as a personal banker and is looking forward to his new duties and responsibilities in that position. He is finishing up the semester and looking forward to having a break this summer. He has been called as the secretary in the Elders Quorum. He has been officiating church ball and was pleased to be a part of the championship games. He is looking forward to warm weather and being able to golf. He is also looking forward to softball. He has signed up for two teams this year and is excited to play.

I have also been busy with work and school. I have been working as a CNA at a care center over night and going to school during the day. I am finishing up my second semester in Nursing school. One more semester and I can test for my LPN. I was called as the Beehive Adviser and I am looking forward to getting to know the girls and embracing the love and wonderful spirit that the Young Women's program has to offer.
Zuka is growing into adulthood as she becomes more set in her ways. She is now almost 18 months old. She is loving having her own roost to rule. She has her favorite spots in the house and has the yard all figured out. She enjoys sitting in the front window to observe passerby's and anything else she can see. She is known throughout our neighborhood and ward. We love her so much and appreciate the happiness and sweet spirit that she brings to our home. She truly was meant for us and we enjoy her very much. Travis and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary this month. We were both busy with school and work, as always, but managed to hit up Teppanyaki for lunch and spend some time shopping together that day. Probably not your typical or ideal anniversary celebration but we enjoyed just spending time together. I got beautiful flowers and Travis got new shoes and Xbox points.
I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for Travis. He is the best husband I could have ever asked for. We support and love each other. We appreciate each other. We rejoice in each others triumphs and empathize when life isn't quite as we had planned. Marriage is no piece of cake but it sure is sweet when you add the right ingredients. I look forward to many wonderful years, and eternity, with my sweet heart.
We are absolutely loving our house. It's nice to have a place to hang our hats and our hearts at the end of the day. I am learning to cook on our gas range and learning to love it. We have began making plans for home improvements. We bought a lawn mower and Travis looks forward to keeping the grass looking nice. I have began planting seeds in our home and look forward to May, when I can plant a garden outside and enjoy having a homegrown supply of vegetables.
Until next time.... <3
