15 weeks..what a change!

I cannot believe the difference when I look at these two pictures. It is so bittersweet to know that my little love is growing. I can't believe he is almost too big for his swing. What a great 15 weeks it has been. I am so excited to watch this little man grow and change and see the world for the very first time. Samuel..I love you more than time will ever allow me to show you! You are such a gift from God..my angel baby!

Bumbo and Pool fun!!

Samuel is finally starting to sit in his Bumbo seat. Today I put him there while I cleaned up the living room after play time and he just watched me and giggled. I guess it was a funny sight..haha! Precious Boy..I couldn't love you more than I do right now..

We also went to the pool again last week at "aunt Kim's" pool! This was the pool attire for Samuel. Too cute not to show!

Holly comes to visit!!

My best friend Holly came in town last weekend from Little Rock to visit. We always have the best time when she comes in town. We both knew it would be a lot different from the visit before..because of my newest addition. This was her first time to meet Samuel..and he LOVED her. I swear he would just light up the second he saw her..but who wouldn't. She is the most precious person ever! I know that Samuel will grow to love "aunt Holly" just as much as I do. Thanks Holls for a great weekened!!!

Sushi...again...

We went to our favortie Sushi place again with Mimi and grandad...and I just love the shirt Samuel has on. He really dressed up for the occasion..wore his tie and everything!

So much fun!

I finally put the Exersaucer together. Samuel loves it..but he can't really sit in it on his own yet. I have to stuff towells all around him..but it is SO cute!!

Busy Weekend!

Our weekend got off to a busy start! On Thursday, Samuel swam for the first time. He has been a pool before but only feet deep. This visit was at my friend Kim's house in uptown. Their condo has a great pool and we had a great time. Samuel is definitely going to love the water..just like his mommy and daddy!

My parents came in town on Friday night and stayed the weekend with us! We had such a great visit. When they got in, we had got some pre-made food from Central Market and had a delicious dinner. We were all pretty tired so we called it a night after that! Saturday morning we woke up and enjoyed some really good coffee (after our really long night..thanks baby S) and good company. Samuel enjoyed a couple of naps and then we ventured out to lunch at Cantina Laredo..our personal favorite. We then went to a great flea market and just browsed around and then went and looked at the beautiful homes on Swiss Avenue. I love all of these old homes..they are so historic and gorgeous! After heading home and putting the S man down for nap #3, mom, Chuck, and I headed out to Central Market to pick out something to throw on the grill for dinner. We topped of the weekend with a good movie on the big screen! Thanks guys for a great weekend..we had a blast!

So handsome! I just can't get enough of this little one!

Is it true...3 months old?

Sweet Samuel Cade! I can't believe you are 3 months now. You are the most precious child ever made and we absolutely love everything about you. We love you more than two people should and look forward to every day with you. Here is what your up to at 3 months old:

• you wear 3-6 month clothes and size 1 diapers
• you are eating 5-6 ounces every 3 hours
• you are sleeping for a few 5- hour stretches..but mostly still waking mommy and daddy up a couple of times a night
• you love bathtime and bedtime...this is my favorite time with you. You are so snuggly!
• you LOVE your daddy..your face lights up the second he walks in the room
• you laugh out loud quite often..and once again..mostly at daddy
• you are no longer riding in the carrier attached to the stroller..you are in the big stroller now
• you really hate riding in the car. This one stinks..because I hate to hear you cry therefore we are home ALOT
• you love your activity mat and will sit under if for so long in the morning while I make coffee, check email and feed the dogs
• you still love to go outside. This is where you are the happiest
• you spit up like a champ. I wonder if you ever keep down any of your bottle. This results in about 5-6 bibs/day
• you love to watch Praise Baby and will watch an entire DVD while I shower in the mornings
• you still nap 3 times/day in your crib but are often visited by the 45 minute nap intruder. This is so much fun for mommy because you usually won't go back to sleep :)
• you have discovered the TV in the living room and we have to turn it off when you are in here or you will watch it like a zombie
• you are still on reflux meds twice per day
• you are an absolute JOY!

Thank you for such a wonderful 3 months sweet love..you are so loved and we really are looking forward to our lives with you!
