We purchased a new car a couple of weeks ago and it has built in DVD's that come with wireless headphones. He was in heaven:)

St. Patrick's Day Parade

First let me just say, BEST PEOPLE WATCHING EVER!! I've never been to the St. Patty's day parade in Dallas and it was the funniest thing ever. I've never been a parade person and have never had the desire to go. But now that Samuel is a little older, I knew he would love it. And he did. The weather was beautiful and perfect. We drove over to Chrissy and Brian's house and walked from their house to Greenville where the parade was. Other than seeing lots of people in green tights and shorts that were way too tight, we saw lots of trucks, police cars and fire trucks oh my! Heaven for my little boy. Here are some cute pictures from the day.

And there it is. The highlight of the day. They even stopped right in front of us for about 5 minutes!

And then there was this. Had to take a picture.

After the parade, we walked over the Freebirds and had some lunch. The kids were beyond tired at this point so we inhaled our food, played with some beads and hit the road for naptime.

Cousin visit

A few weeks ago, we had a wonderful visit from my brother and sister in law and their three girlies! It was such a good weekend and especially fun for Samuel, because he LOVES his cousins. We enjoyed grilling out at my dad and step mom's house both nights and dad even warmed the pool so the kids could swim. This was Samuel's first time in the pool this year and he was a little uneasy but I think it was because the air was so cool once he was out of the water. I'm hoping and praying he loves the pool this summer..fingers crossed!

Uncle Thad is always such a good playmate for the girls. I was very thankful he was such a good sport and got in with all of the kids.

Amelia and Samuel are only 4 months apart in age so they had a ball! They were chasing each other around and dive-bombing the couch and just laughing hysterically! So cute

On the way home he was completely wired and such a happy boy!

The next morning we went out to breakfast and it was an adventure for sure. The kids were so cute but were kids. Meredith, this is just a taste of what our Florida trip will be like this summer. So crazy but so fun!!
