Abby's first Christmas

Abby the poor orphan child hardly got any toys for Christmas.  (She actually only got three toys from mom and dad, the rest are from Grandma Thayer and Grandma Myers).

Daddy helps the little Christmas Bug open up one of her many presents that are bigger than she is.  She sits in awe at the enormity of the plush pelican.

Alright folks, here it is. Definitive proof that little Abigail Buggy Thayer can say "hi dad." You be the judge.

Growlin' Bug

Abby has recently started an attempt to communicate vocally with us. This has manifest itself mainly as a lot of "ba ba grrrrrrrr"s. She is very good at imitating us and video evidence that she can actually say "hi dad" will come as soon as we can catch it on video. Happy 2 years!

It was our 2 year anniversary on Oct 29th. We celebrated by going to Tepanyaki Steakhouse! It took me 3 tries to catch the dang shrimp in my mouth, Mike caught his on the first try... Anyhoo, married life has been complete bliss and we're so happy to have a little third wheel tagging along with us now. Love you Mikey :)

Happy Halloween

FHE

We carved pumpkins for FHE this week. It was so much fun. Mike spent close to 3 hours meticulously tracing and carving out his Halo 3 design. I opted for a simple ghost stencil, and Abby was pleased with her purple sparkly glitter.

Annoying!

I'm confined to my house today because some BYU student decided to park in front of our driveway. I've looked through everyone's blog at least twice already (I'm secretly hoping that someone will decide to post something new during their workday).
Maybe I should do something productive like do the dishes or clean the bathroom.........naaaaw.
Anyhoo I wish people didn't park in front of our driveway, this is the second time in 2 weeks!!
