Wow - yea.... I think it's time for an update!! I will do that this week - promise!!

Brandon is 18!!!!!!

I can't believe it! My little boy is becoming all grown up. And that is a bittersweet thing! It is wonderful to see who he is growing up to be but I do miss my little boy, too! We are so proud of him. He has really turned into a fabulous person and he is so fun to be around!

Graduation is right around the corner. He also just completed all the requirements and got all his paperwork in to get his eagle scout award. He is working right now as an umpire for baseball for the little league program Nick plays in. He will go to college for a year and then go on his mission! Wow, so amazing how time is flying by!

Brandon's actual birthday was Wednesday - the same day he had to work and Nick had a game so our plan was to celebrate Brandon's birthday on Saturday. Our family tradition is to let the birthday-er choose where we have dinner. The games were canceled later so we decided just to go have Red Robin. We invited the J's to go with us and it was so fun! Here are a few pictures from the night...

So today we went to Brandon's original choice for dinner - Tuscanos (just like Rodizio Grill - but better!!!) Marshall and Amy and their girls went with us and it was yummy - and tons of food!! We loved the part when they came out to sing Happy Birthday to Brandon in Portugese and he had to stand on his chair and play the tambourine!!

Brandon - WAMA '10

Just a few pictures from Brandon's last dance. Dan took a couple before Brandon and Nick left to pick up their dates and the last one is stolen from Facebook of while they were out. WAMA is a very laid back, no stress dance that always has a theme. They go dressed up to match the theme and this year it was "what you see on the side of the freeway." Brandon's group went as truckers!

Today's THE Day

Today is Jared's BIG day!! He is officially at the MTC in Provo for his training for his mission! He will spend the next two months learning how to speak Spanish and then head out to the Detroit Michigan Mission. The last few days have been wonderful, spiritual and full of family, love and tears. I will post pictures later but we are so proud of Jared!! Way to go Elder Urry!! See you in March, 2012...
