First Trip to the Dentist

Whitney had her first dentist appointment today. It went well! We two kids in the chair, one major breakdown, and no cavities! Yea! Way to go Mom and Dad for that!

Baby Animal Days

This was so fun!!! 

The American West Heritage Center does a 

Baby Animal Days every year.

We got to hold baby pigs, goats, ducks, cows, sheep, chicks and bunnies!

We took a pony ride

a train ride

a blacksmith lesson

homemade cookies made in an old woodstove

and lots more!

Next time we'll be calling everybody to come join us!

Water Fun

Who would have thought that water would be the biggest entertainer! We did have a few days of summer... before the blizzard we had yesterday. Ahhh... it was fun while it lasted. 

 Oh, why does Whitney look like a gangster? She told me her head was hot so she went and got herself a hat! We may need to have a little talk about what we should do when it's hot, and what we should do when it's cold.

And we had these adorable neighborhood twins over!

Family Home Evening

We spent a recent family home evening just enjoying some time together. We had hot dogs at the park, ran around the playground and then tried cosmic bowling for the kids.

Let's just say that the people next to us were not appreciative when our bowling ball ended up in their lane.

However, Devan is quite the bowler! He'd shove that ball off of there as hard as he could and then wave, all the while saying, "bu-bye, bu-bye ball".

Little Princess

Mom made Whitney a little tutu... she loves it and wears it around all the time... cashiers find it worth a treat!

Houdini

This little Houdini will get out of his chair when it's snapped down on the smallest setting possible. The kid is a contortionist! We've also recently discovered that he can get out of his tightly buckled car seat as well. What kid can manage that?! 

The Funpark

Whitney's new favorite place is the Funpark which she typically gets to go to with Dad on Tuesday nights while Mom goes to YW. She'll explain to Mom and Dad all about the Funpark at bedtime... makes for a great bedtime story apparently. This time she got a St. Patricks Day bracelet that she was super excited to show off.

Mom and Dad's Anniversary... Yummy!

For Mom and Dad's anniversary this year we had some amazing fish tacos and then a special surprise... chocolate fondant with graham crackers, apples, strawberries, marshmallows, cookies, pretzels, bananas, and anything else you could dip in chocolate. Everybody loved it! (And we went straight to the bathtub afterward!)
