Yeah!!! I survived my science classes at SUU this semester. It was challenging with all of the changes and transition in my life, but I'm glad I did it. I still don't know if I will apply for PA school this summer. I may just wait another year, and apply next summer. That way, Ali would start first grade at the same time I would start the program. I think that would be easier on both of us, but we'll see what happens.

Ali loved dance this year! She just had her end of the year dance review, and she did SO good! I know every parent thinks their kid is the best, but she was one of the oldest in the class, and she did the dances almost perfectly! With dance and preschool being over, we are looking forward to a fun & relaxing summer!

One foot in front of the other...

I wish I could find time to update my blog more often, but between school and just surviving, I haven't been too good at blogging lately. I am taking a couple classes at the college, and I'm loving it. I love to learn new things, and school is something that I'm naturally good at, so it's been really good for me. It's keeping me going and occupying my mind a lot.

Ali is doing good. She is smart, happy, and resilient! She knows that I love her, and she knows that her daddy loves her, which is all that really matters, right? She is loving Joy School and dance lessons from Miss Debbie! Words cannot express my love for her. She is such a blessing in my life.

A Sledding Adventure...

Ali and I went sledding together on Christmas Eve. We had SO MUCH FUN! I have a funny story. So we got to this big hill, which was like the side of a mountain, and we hiked all the way to the top where a trail was already blazed. I realized how high up we were, so I told Ali "I'm gonna go down first to make sure it is safe, so you just watch and then I'll come back up to get you". So, I started down the hill, and I got going so fast, I couldn't see cuz there was snow flying up into my face, so my eyes were closed, and the next thing I know I hit a jump and I'm flying through the air! I totally biffed it, and just busted up laughing to myself :) Needless to say, I'm glad I took a test run without Ali. We just sledded down a lower portion of the hill! My butt and my legs are feeling it two days later!
