Mother's Day Weekend

We went for the yearly BBQ at My Uncle Greg and Aunt Peggy's house in Preston. We LOVE hanging out there and enjoying seeing them while playing with all their fun toys. ATVs, pool, air hockey, and so on. Kaylyn and Sara gave our kids lots of rides on the 4 wheelers.

New Hampshire & Boston trip

I just got back from an awesome, wonderful trip! It all started when my good friend, Kristi, called me to see if I could come out to New Hampshire for her annual Stampin' Up! big group get-together. She wanted LITTLE OLD ME to be her keynote speaker for her downline group, the New Stampshires!





Of course I said yes and she arranged all the details for my travel while I got ready with all my bestest Stampin' Up! business ideas. Here are Kristi and I in all our Stampin' Up! leader glory!
I stayed at Kristi's home in the lovely wooded forest hills of the Hudson, NH area.

Here is Kristi's cute family, they were a blast to hang out with! Brian, Kristi, Cam, and Colby in front.

They took me to an awesome homemade ice cream creamery type place. Yum.

Then Kristi took me to the best donut shop ever, yum.

THEN we went to a swell Boston Bakery, Mike's. Yes we were all about the food on this trip. Steph flew out with me and visited Kara so we all hooked up for some fun time in Boston. Here are Steph and Kristi enjoying their cannoli at the 'Big Dig' area--the freeway turned pretty park. Now the road is all underground. Groovy.

No one had to drag us to go shopping!!

We ate dinner at the Green Dragon Tavern. Many of the important planning meetings of the revolution happened here. It's the actual place where the conversation was overheard that spurred Paul Revere's famous ride--"The Redcoats are coming--"

I loved checking out Fenway! Kara did a great job showing us all the good stuff. I stayed with her the last couple of days. What a wonderful trip! Loved it!

It warms my heart

When the kids ask me if they can look at their scrapbooks. YAY! they love the books I have worked so hard on.

baby animal day

Today was the annual Stamper's x-press meeting so I was BUSY all day. My buddy Mandy was working with me on it. So our guys found something fun to do with the kids--baby animal day at the American West Heritage center.Here is our crew of Barnard/Erickson kiddos ready for a fun day at the farm!

Each kid got to climb in the pen with the baby cow and pet her. Jack said "soft cow, soft cow..." Jack also really loved the donkey, kept saying "hey donkey" over and over. A lot of what he says right now is his Jack language so it is fun when he speaks to us in English. :)

Drew cuddles a duckie. He is such a tenderheart and loves animals.

So much to see!

One of the highlights was finding a baby snake (not part of the exhibit) in the grass. With Jared's help they tossed it home--to the stream.

Jack tried the horse too but did not love it as much. However now he constantly wants to look at this picture of himself on the horse. He at least LOVES the picture!!

Easter fun for everyone

Dyeing the eggs is a HUGE tradition with my family, and this year was no exception. Mom was not feeling as up to it as usual with the chemo, but she was a good sport.

We are so glad to have the nice weather now! We live right by a park so we often wander over there while Drew is at school.

Scrappin' weekend

I probably would NEVER get any scrappin done if it weren't for... SCRAPPIN WEEKEND!

My Aunt Melanie and I started this tradition YEARS ago, we scrapbook all weekend on conference weekend. Ever since we started this I have never missed a conference talk either. It is the best tradition ever. John babysits and cooks (with only minor grumbling) and Melmel & I just...scrap.
