WOW! 5 Years!
Posted on: February 6, 2011
It is crazy to believe, but Chris & I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on January 21, 2011! That sure makes you feel old & wrinkly! 🙂 haha! We had a great anniversary, went to Color Me Mine & made soup bowls and on our actual anniversary we went to the Provo Temple and did sealings. Marriage is not easy, but it is definitely the biggest blessing you can have in your life. Being married to your best friend is all anyone could ever ask for! I am one lucky girl. Chris is so sweet to me, and is very loving to our dogs, which just melts my heart! We have definitely been together through thick & thin, good times and bad, but we are always by each other’s side through it all.
- I decorated Chris’ truck while he was inside at work
- Color Me Mine! Anniversary tradition!
- Sittin’ on Santa’s lap! I am still waiting for my pony…
- Typical photo of us as a couple… haha! 🙂
Fun & Fancy Free!

Chris & I are always having a great time. Whether hanging out with pals, doing family stuff, or going on adventures with our dogs, we are always moving & shaking. Here are some photos from our recent experiences:
We Always Win Stuff!
Posted on: September 5, 2010
So, Chris & I have this really crazy thing about always winning things! Anytime we enter raffles or drawings, we WIN! Which is awesome, I am definitely not complaining! Our most recent wins were at the Realtorfest-Chris won a Bluray player, Olive Garden gift card, and Cinemark movie tickets. Then, at a party my orthodontist had at the Lindon City Aquatic Center, I won a shimmery pink Schwinn Beach Cruiser! I was soooo excited! We have wanted bikes forever, and that was exactly the bike I would have gotten! How crazy is that? So I have ridden it tons, and Chris got a mountain bike so we can cruise the streets of Provo together. 🙂 Yay!
And, in other awesome news, I found out that my braces are coming off October 5th! This is going to be amazing. It has been a long 18 months! 🙂
Llamas in Lindon!
Posted on: August 29, 2010
So, did you know there are llamas randomly in Lindon, near the city park? Well now you do! 🙂 Chris & I discovered this while we were at the park for an outdoor movie night to support “Home for a Hero,” which is a group thats building a home for a disabled vet. How fun! It is interesting to me how even when you have lived somewhere for a long time, there are always new things to discover about it!
Cute Little Nieces!
Posted on: August 22, 2010
Chris & I are lucky to have 2 of the cutest nieces ever! Jeff & Emily’s little girl, Katie, is 1 year old & really sweet. Jeran & Ashley’s tiny lady, Kaylee, is 4 months and just a doll! It is amazing to see how such tiny little people see the world & how just the simplest things bring them joy. We can definitely learn a lot from them in that way!
- Unlce Skip with little Kaylee Lynne
- Ashley & Kaylee visiting from Florida
- Kaylee’s so cute! As you can tell, I have no idea what to do with babies. Ha!
- Family photo op! Grandpa Adams, Ashley & Kaylee, Colin, Rashelle, Mom, Me & Peanut, Chris & Kanga
- Katie’s 1st birthday!
- Jeff made Katie this super cute butterfly cake. What a cute dad!
- Emily, Katie, Jeff & Chris enjoying the Manti Pageant
- Katie eating some car keys. Everything goes in the mouth.
Farmer’s Markets
Posted on: August 8, 2010
- Selling at Park Silly was really fun! The first couple of times we were up there though, it was ridiculously freezing! But the Park City people love our dog treats! And we love them 🙂
- Chef Chris was a delightful help in slicing the Poochie Peanut Butter Swirls to perfection
- Crowds are a good thing at the market!
- A momma moose & a baby moose we got to see up in Park City. So cool!
Alot of our summer this year has been filled up with farmer’s markets. We started Doggone Good Bakery, and we sell gourmet, organic dog treats! It is really fun, we both love dogs & making things. At some of the markets I also sell some “eye-spy” bags and jewelry. I have always loved creating things, and it is fun to see that other people like what I do. One of our favorite things about the markets is all the new friends we have made & all the interesting people you meet.
Vacation Time!
Posted on: June 20, 2010
- The Seaworld show was amazing! Animals are so smart
- San Diego Zoo! Sorry, Utah, but it is way better than Hogle Zoo!
- The Wild Animal Park was really cool, full of animals
- One of the best things about the trip was our rental car-air conditioning & a radio that works??? whoa!
- Posing as penguins at Seaworld.
- One of my favorite things was the San Diego Dog Beach. Dogs were welcome to be wild & free there.
- Shamu’s show! We had to see him.
Chris & I have been really busy with our businesses and life in general! So thankfully, we were able to take a really fun weeklong vacation to California! Our dogs came along, of course, and we had a blast spending time together & exploring new things!
Birthday Smirthday!
Posted on: May 24, 2010
So it was my 24th birthday about a month ago- April 15th! I know this is a horrible day for many (taxes, anyone?) but at least something good came out of that day, right? Haha. I had a superb birthday, Chris & I got to go to Color Me Mine and make plates. He also surprised me by coming home from work early with some flower & The Black Eyed Peas CD. My mom & Colin took us all out to lunch as well to celebrate! Fun times!
- Hard at work, creating art!
- I love Color Me Mine! It is one of my favorite places ever to go!
- The finished pieces! Chris made the yellow one, the green one is mine!
- My pretty flowers! (In a vase I made at Color Me Mine another year)
- Chowing down at Chuck A Rama with Colin, my mom, Skip, Grandpa, and Chris of course!
- My awesome bro & sister in law, Jeran & Ashley sent me this cute fruit bouquet. Delish!
Sunday Strolls
Posted on: May 16, 2010
One thing Chris & I have always done is going on Sunday walks. It is a great way to get some exercies, fresh air, and quality time together. We love having the puppies to take along as well. They love to get out & about and meet new people and dogs.
- Kanga & Peanut know when we are heading to the park for a walk, I swear! They get so excited
- Enjoying beautiful Nielsen’s Grove Park in Orem.
- Chris usually ends up walking Kanga. She is a daddy’s girl! haha
- As you can see by the drag marks, Peanut was not very eager to get near the duck pond.
*Spring has Sprung!*
Posted on: April 24, 2010
Yay for springtime! Our tulips are blooming & the weather is (kinda) starting to get warmer! Chris & I both are definitely warm weather lovers, so we are loving it. There is something about spring that makes you feel renewed & reenergized. Also, you start to realize (maybe because of more sunlight?) how much you need to deep clean your house and get your yard in shape! Spring cleaning & yardwork here we come! 🙂 We have had a busy, fun month. Here are some pictures highlighting what we have been up to. Enjoy!
- Playing Yahtzee with my Pops
- Enjoying art & chocolate at the Springville Art Museum, courtesy of Prudential Utah Elite Real Estate
