This busy thing called LIFE

So I've been a SLACKER when it comes to blogging lately...I guess you could say I've been a little busy; HA!

We moved from Athens to Chandler 2 weeks ago.  We are SO happy with this move.  Chandler feels more like "home".  We're close to church, close to Tyler, and enjoy the small town feel that Chandler has.  We're about 30 minutes closer to my family in Texarkana and about 20 minutes further from our friends in Athens and Chad's family in Murchison but we're right where we feel that we're supposed to be.  After moving to Athens from Lago Vista we had a hole (in our hearts) and I believe Chandler is the place that can fill that hole.  We love our house here and the neighborhood is great.  All in all it was a much needed move and once again we feel so blessed that God led us here!  Chad is enjoying working in Henderson County and I'm so glad that Chandler IS in Henderson County!  =)

NEW HOUSE IN CHANDLER!

Oh yea, I've also been busy getting ready for our first Christmas with Bubba Love!  I placed an online order with One Step Ahead (love that place!) and we received our box of goodies for Kylan just a few days ago.  It was so fun playing with the toys while he was napping and then hiding them in the guest closet before he woke up; HA!  I have pinned several things on Pinterest that I know Bubs will love...I've shared his wish list with his grandmothers (sorry Nana and K.K., you ARE grandmothers) and whatever they don't buy we WILL!  My excitement for Christmas this year is undeniable and I'm not sure I can wait 2 1/2 more months before we take part in all these festivities!

Hello Ezcema. Goodbye Ezcema!

Yes, Kylan has ezcema.  It started out with just a few bumps behind his knees (on the back of his legs) and turned into dry patches there were really irritated and looked like they were painful.  Through it all he never once let on like it bothered him but I knew we had to see the doctor about this because nothing that I was trying was working...it was only getting worse.  The doctor confirmed our thoughts (after research and talking to friends) that it was ezcema.  He gave us a perscription for Triamcinolon and told us to use it only when it became severe (for 2 weeks maximum at a time) and gave us several recommendations on other products to use daily when it wasn't.  We only had to use this cream for 3 days before it was COMPLETELY cleared up...AMAZING!!!!  So glad our baby boy's legs look beautiful and feel smooth again!

YUM!

Kylan had his first taste of baby food and he LOVES it!  We started him on rice cereal, on October 5th, and started him on Stage 1 baby foods after several days of the rice cereal.  Kylan now has had several days of eating bananas and he's now eating peaches! We will try some vegetables soon.  So glad he's adapting to this change and loving every second of it!

Month 6

Kylan is 1/2 a year old!

How can it be?!?!

He is doing great and rocking along!  Kylan is still sleeping through the night, taking 2-3 naps a day, drinking 6 oz every 3-4 hours, and just recently started eating rice cereal after his morning bottle.  He laughs a lot, smiles, coos, yells with excitement, rolls and rolls and rolls and rolls, and sits up WITH help (a lot of help, ha!).  The doctor said Kylan is growing well and he is pleased with his development.

Height: 26.5", 54th percentile

Weight: 16 lbs 2.5 oz, 26th percentile

Our precious baby boy just gets more lovable and cuter by the second.  WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH!
