These past few months have been a blur around the ranch. We have been busy remodeling the trailer house and hope to move in sometime in the next month. I am really excited about moving and already have our school room and all the bedrooms set up in the trailer house. Between school and remodeling the trailer, I don't seem to have much time for anything else so my blog has suffered greatly. I down loaded all my cell phone pictures so I could at least post a few things from this summer that I would like to remember someday.
Maddie loves her PopPop, her goats and riding horses. She has spent a lot of time with PopPop this summer learning about horses and life. She spent an entire week with him right before school started and I only saw her once the entire week.
Zoey, Sawyer and Rory all took turns riding the horse with PopPop too!
This boy loves his Papa, working with his Papa, wrestling with his Papa, using his Papa's tools and anything else that includes his Papa. Before school started, he was all excited about school but after one day, he was done! I plan to work with him some but he won't officially start school until next year! He is to busy working and playing to sit still long enough for school!
Emma Claire turned 7, learned to ride her bike, and lost a few more teeth this past month!
We celebrated Emma's birthday with Granny and Grandpa Sigmon and Nana. We had lunch and she got to go shopping at Wal-Mart with Nana!
As I posted in July, Nana and Dado have moved to Lake Whitney. We finally got to spend some time at their new home and the kids loved it. Swimming, fishing, golfing, and riding in Dado's "super fast" boat sure is a lot of fun.
Zoey found this cool spear head in their back yard.

Little Miss Evelyn Aubrey was born on Wednesday, August 26! Emma Claire was super excited because her birthday is the day after hers. We are so excited for Katie and Travis as they start this new adventure known as parenting!
The kids spent several nights outside in Maddie's tent until Ellie, our dog, tore a huge hole in the side. They love camping out as long as they can watch a movie on the iPad!
We had a pretty mild summer as far as injuries are concerned until Sawyer hit Zoey in the mouth with the end of the water hose. Apparently playing in the water with my children is a dangerous sport. Zoey had to have two little stitches and she handled it well.
The kids sure love Baby Evie. They all took turns holding her, well all except Rory and I just don't trust him to hold a tiny baby!
That about sums up the end of our summer and now we are looking forward to cool weather and football this fall!
Blessings,
