the two questions that are on everyone's mind:

1.vietnam

i suppose i would declare vietnam to be rab fab, only i dont really know if it's because i truly enjoyed the place, or if the joy i felt was due to the Liberation from Parents.

anyway, whatever it is, i can't blog about vietnam now because the pictures are with shumin, and really, i don't think i want to sit down and summarize two weeks worth of experience into 500 words.

which brings me to the second question i'm sure that's on all your minds (all 6 of you).

2.whatever have i been doing to occupy my time since the 22nd.

in this order:

parties.
watching movies.
dinners.
job hunting.

that's it really. and now excuse me as i continue to live my pathetic existence of a life (well, not really, im just saying that to make you feel better [all 5 of you]).

oh! oh! oh!

please do pray for me and shumin's safety! especially since we are:

1. taking tigerairways
2. backpacking with only each other for company and er, protection
3. bird flu! even though we're absolutely going to stay away from chicken, pray that nothing will happen.

prom was nice. seeing everyone nicely done up (as opposed to being sweaty, grimy, and gross) was quite a treat. food was surprisingly good too! was expecting the worst when the vj people complained about their salmon being white, but hey! twas not too bad. and as usual, the photowhore took many pictures, only er, i dont look too good in flash so those wont be posted and i'm too lazy to upload the 289510.45 other pictures in the digital camera. so, er, later.

post prom was (surprisingly) a blast too! am happy. had my weekly exercise already. at this rate, i'm going to be really fit when army comes.

headed over to marina mandarin later to join my class at the suite. played stupid drinking games like er, confessions, where many dirty little secrets were revealed and the what-how-huh game. the latter was really quite fun because things started to move so quickly that people just started to blurt out huh whenever and wherever. whee. haha okay, fine. it sounds more boring than it is.

oh, and of course the photowhore had to go down the last bit of absolute, and things got a bit high after that. all i remember of the dark hours between 5-730 is chortling, card games, using toothpaste to smear all over hairy legs, makeup, having shaving cream rubbed over my legs, getting my toenails and fingernails painted sparkly pink (IN MY SLEEP), backing out of swimming at dawn because i was afraid of drowning, eating chocolate muffins that dropped onto the floor, and to cover whatever i've missed out, general teasing and laughter.

woke up and terri had breakfast all laid out for us! while we watched cartoons! like sabrina the teenage bitch witch! this is the life. getting high and having people to pamper me. thank you darlings :)

trooped over to the airport with the class and packed angmoh off to hongkong this afternoon. bye angmoh! you will be missed! hope to see you in feb!

right-o. i'm enormously sleep-deprived. am off to catch a quick afternoon nap before i start packing for vietnam! ohmygosh. so exciting.

so yesterday, i went to shumin's house for a meet and greet with the parents. which was interesting to say the least, not to mention a little bit nerve wrecking. initally went over to plan for vietnam, but well, i suppose we got a bit sidetracked over tigerairways.com and iTunes instead.

trooped over to mambo later with shumin, to meet reina and co. hurhur. i think mambo's my kind of music! loud, retro and complete with cheesy dance moves. it's like a mass parapara kinda thing. immediate goal: to learn all the hand moves and climb onto the podium like the ah lians and ah bengs standing there last night (incidentally, isnt it strange that 3/4 of the podium dancers are guys?)



right-o. am off to meet steph, sam and tatt for prom shopping now. am getting quite worried. it's less than 6 days away and i've still not met anything that catches my fancy.
