We spent half of February continuing with Hannah's colic at night, which was not easy. She also got sick with another cold, which didn't help with the fussiness. However, on February 17, she turned a corner. She started sleeping more at night, and made my life a whole lot easier. Her thrush came back again, but it was no big deal. I started getting out more with the three girls, and we started to get used to our new normal. We created lots of fun memories with the girls, and had a wonderful time celebrating Ryleigh's 3rd birthday. It's hard to believe another year has gone by! Enjoy the reveiw of the month!
It's too bad there aren't grocery carts out there for infant carriers! It's quite hilarious to see me try to stuff all the groceries I can into every tiny space of the grocery cart.
First trip with all three kids! February 1, 2013
Hannah slept right through it!
Thank you Mimi for letting me know about this awesome cover for the infant carrier! It has been wonderful!
Princess Ball-February 1, 2013
Ryleigh's first Princess Ball, Aubrey's 3rd!
I would love to say that all went perfect, but it was an interesting night for Rod. On the way to the church he stopped to check on a guy who was in a car accident. He wanted to make sure that it wasn't someone from our church. Although there were others there, he stayed till the ambulance arrived. The girls were safe in the car, but they had lots of questions. After getting to the Ball, Aubrey couldn't find Rod while he was trying to get them a seat. She was not happy about that. She ended up not dancing the entire night. She said she missed me, etc. Ryleigh had fun roaming around more than anything. I am not sure how much dancing she did either, but they all looked adorable!

I think the girls would of had fun if this was the Ball! They were already dancing. In fact, Rod dropped me off at the house before heading to the Ball. On the way home Ryleigh said, "That was fun." I had to explain to her that the Ball had actually not even begun yet!
I LOVE these girls!
Winding down....Bedtime!
When I was tucking Aubrey in, I talked to her about how Daddy must have felt that she didn't dance with him all night, had a grumpy face, etc... She said, "Next year I am not going to do that." I sure do love Aubrey and Ryleigh, regardless!

Creative playtime! Aubrey is so good with coming up with creative ways to play. I love it!
The two outfits below I put on both Ryleigh and Aubrey when they were babies. So cute!
Here is Hannah, wearing them at almost 2 months of age.
Race for Ryleigh Shirt! I always love seeing Ryleigh wear her shirt, because it's a reminder to me of how far we have come!
Valentine's Day! Of course I had to match the girls!
Ryleigh and I got Rosa's for lunch, while Aubrey was at school. I thought it would be a fun Valentine's Day treat. I love an excuse to eat Rosa's. So good! As you can see, Ryleigh loves it too!
Aubrey and Ryleigh going through all their Valentine's Day goodies
What better way to eat dinner, than a heart shaped pizza from Papa Johns?
I also made a fun Valentine's Day dessert.
I think the girls had a fun day, and so did I! (Poor Rod was sick, but the girls and I made the best of the day)
Ryleigh's Birthday Party- February 16, 2013
Ahhhh! Sweet Ryleigh is 3! We had such a sweet day celebrating her birthday at Stonebriar Mall. We rented out the carousel so that guests could ride for free. Rod and I were exhausted from a sleepless night with Hannah, but the day was wonderful. In fact, the sleepless night worked out, because Hannah slept through the entire party.
Sweet Sisters!
Lots of fun breakfast foods!
My Mom made her yummy banana nut muffins too! So good!

Aubrey and Ryleigh always love playing on Mimi and Papi's blow up mattress.
I think this face is a great portrayal of what we saw for her first couple of months of life. Lots and lots of crying. I love you Hannah!
Great pic with Mimi and Papi
Oh how I love these girls!
And Oh, how they love each other!
Ryleigh,
I can’t help but reflect on your birth story each year you get older. If an angel had come to me and told me the day you were born, that you would one day be such an amazing 3 year old, I wouldn’t have shed so many tears that night. I thought for sure I was going to lose you. Last year was another scary year, with the many nights and days we stayed at Children’s Hospital. I used to question if things would ever be normal again. This year you have been so healthy, with just a few hours at Children’s Hospital in January. I am so, so thankful for that. You have had your share of colds and virus’s, but you have fought them well. You’re still just a tiny little thing, at only 24 pounds, but your personality is as big as the sky. I love the little girl that you are. You love to sing, turning almost anything into a song! The sound of your laughter is one of my favorite sounds in the world. You are constantly giving Hannah hugs and kisses, which has been so sweet to see. I am amazed at how smart you are too. You have proven to us all that your prematurity has not slowed you down a bit. You can count to 20, and sing your AB C’s, and you are starting to recognize letters now. We haven’t fully tackled potty training yet, but we will have to soon, so you are ready for preschool. I have no doubt that making friends is will come easily for you. You have a smile that is incredibly contagious, a great sense of humor, and a love for life. I simply adore you, and I am so proud to be your Mommy. You are always up for a hug, and come up to me many times in the day to get one. I can’t imagine our family without you. Love, Mom
Tami and I's 35th birthday celebration at my parent's house
(I got exactly what I wished for! I prayed that Hannah would stop having Colic at night, and my wish came true! She slept for a 6 hour stretch on this night!)

I love getting to share my birthday with my little miracle!
Big meals mean big naps!

How do we celebrate? Abuelos of course! Our girls love Mexican food just like we do. Especially, the Cox girls!
It was a bit crazy, but we still enjoyed the food!
Hannah sat nice and quiet in her car seat
We went through lots of baskets of chips and salsa!
Yummy!
Tam and I ended the day with watching the premiere of The Bachelor! (Just so you know, it ended up being my favorite season of The Bachelor to date!)
Enjoying a playdate at the Pruetts while Kate and Aubrey were in school! The girls love playing outside!

A visit from Aunt Candice!
The girls love getting to spend time with their Auntie! It always involves lots of play time!
They love their new dress up clothes too! If these girls are not playing dress up, they are playing with dolls!
I love how Ryleigh is looking at Candice here...
Hannah felt so comfy with Aunt Candice, she actually fell asleep while she was holding her. So sweet!
