St. Patrick's Day
A bit of Irish Luck for all my friends.
May the Irish hills caress you
May her lakes and rivers bless you
May the luck of the Irish enfold you
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
May the Irish hills caress you
May her lakes and rivers bless you
May the luck of the Irish enfold you
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
Moved In
We're all moved in. It's so wonderful to have this much space. I have a hard time beleiving that I cramed the kids into one room when I look at their rooms now. The kids are starting to adjust and loving the space and freedom; freedom is of course not as much as either of them want. We're still unpacking and putting things away and then moving them to new locations and then moving them again trying to find the 'right' spot. But we all are very happy.

Homeowners
It's official - we're homeowners as of this afternoon! Wow. I can't wait to get the moving over with and get settled. I'll post pictures as soon as we can get over there and take some! Very exciting.

The Hunt for a House is OVER

More House Hunting

I went out looking at houses again on Friday with my agent. I saw about 9 houses and thought four of them were either great or decent. I narrowed them down to three to show Buddy the next day. We liked two of them, but decided to make an offer (yet again) on one of them. It's a great house, so fingers crossed. It's at the top of our budget, so good thing it's move in ready. Still no news about the house we made an offer on over two months ago. Which might be a good thing because it's led us to this new house which we like better. It's more money, but bigger and doesn't need any work until we want to start making changes that reflect us.

Christmas With Two Kids
Christmas has always been a fun holiday, but now that I have kids it's even more special. This year we had two little people to watch open gifts and how fun it was! My mom came into town for a few days so we spent some time shopping (yeah!) and then I got a much needed break when she took the kids to Eileen's house for a couple nights. We all opened a few gifts Tuesday night since she was flying out on Wednesday morning (darn weather). The kids had a blast opening "presidents" as Haleigh calls them. Nicolaas just had fun eating the bows and boxes. This is a time to be gratful for what you have and I am truly blessed for my wonderful husband and children.
We went over to Aunt Donene's house for Christmas Eve and enjoyed spending time with family and eating everything. We opened gifts and played games. Hopefully we can get together more often so my kids can start collecting memories with family. Thanks Donene and Rand!
