Princess Award

Thanks to Erica for nominating me for this :)

This award is about books and how much we like to read them. Here it goes

1. Name an author you love.

I love Patricia Cornwell-kinda creepy at times, but I love the medical/mystery. Jodi Picoult although I haven't read them all. . .yet :) Right now I am really into Beverly Lewis-all about the Amish/pioneer type days. I am enjoying being able to find time to read again now that my kids are getting older. Loved the Twilight series also by Stephenie Meyer.

2. Name an author who highlights your personality.

Not sure. . .my book style varies widely from the supernatural to the old-fashioned pioneer days.

Maybe there is multiple personalities inside my brain? :)

3. Name some books you love.

Whenever I think of my favorite book, I think of The Girl With the Silver Eyes, not sure who wrote it, but I remember reading it over and over as a kid. I don't re-read books typically, but I did contemplate it with the Twilight series.

4. Something that always excites you.

Seeing my kids learn something new. Mason reading and doing his math, Meg learning all the words to her Taylor Swift CD :), Max saying his good-night prayers, Tess singing with Meg to Taylor Swift and always answering before Max when reciting the good-night prayers :)

5. Something you hate

Always being late, which I chronically am, and the fact that everyone knows it.

Trouble

I am buying a locking device for the fridge. They said they were "hiding from monsters"

A 2 yr old plus my navy eyeliner. I have to give her a little credit, there was some on her right upper eyelid ;) scary! Oh and ignore the massive abrasion/lump on her forehead, can't leave her home with daddy to run to the store apparently.

Dress Up

Tights, inside-out w/ a jacket but no shirt on Tess, and a cousin's dance outfit w/ tights on Max

Would you believe he did this by himself? Torture at about age 13, and again when he gets married! :)

Why I love Valentine's Day

This is my main reason for loving Valentine's Day (idea stolen from here)

This is my 2nd bag already :) I typically eat about a dozen of these, and my mom stockpiles them and has several bags at her house left from last year.

Another Tooth Gone!

I would love to tell a story of how Mason's tooth fell out while eating an apple, corncob, etc, but it wasn't near that pretty. The thing had been sticking out at a 45 degree angle for WAY too long, so I pulled it ;) No, he wasn't happy, there was lots of screaming, pinning of extremities, and a little blood. After all is said and done, he is glad it is out and he can eat apples again!
