ImageI found these pictures on my camera after my mom stopped by one day with Frosty's. They were so excited they were jumping with joy :)

Happy 33rd Birthday to a wonderful husband and father of 4 crazy kiddos! We celebrated by going to the KSU Spring Game with some friends and family with 9 kids in tow. We got lots of funny looks with all the kids being 7yrs or younger! Hope we celebrate many, many more birthdays together honey! Love you!

Happy Birthday Daisy!

ImageWhile we were out of town, Daisy had her 11th birthday. She got some new tennis balls :) Meg is about the only one brave enough to try to sneak under her to get the ball away to throw it. Daisy still runs like crazy and pulls me when we go for a jog (big surprise there).

Chicago

ImageLuke had a work related course to attend in Chicago and the "big" kids and I decided to tag along. We stayed in Aurora (close to the course) had a rental car and got to fully use the Sprint Navigator on my phone. I was able to drive to the closest train station without getting lost, and the kids and I took the little over 1 hr ride to downtown Chicago. We went up on the SkyDeck of the Willis Tower (Sears Tower) and Meg had no fear in standing in a small box jutting out from the side of the tower 103 floors above the ground. We met up with our substitute "grandma" for the weekend, Nancy and she took us around downtown. Meg got her doll's hair done at the American Girl Doll store and Mason shopped his birthday money away at the Lego store. We had a wonderful PotBelly sandwich for lunch then hopped back on the train. We braved the train the next day also and this time also rode in a taxi and the public bus station to the Field Museum. It was a quick trip through a few exhibits then back to the train station so we would be back to pick up Luke when his day was over. The last day we drove over to LegoLand and built Lego cars to race, sat in a 3-D movie about Lego's, rode a little ride and saw lots of cool stuff made out of (what else) Lego's. Donny and Nancy met us for lunch there also and then we headed back to the hotel to swim the night away as we did each night there. The kids had a great time and it was rather, dare I say, relaxing? ;)
