We spent a long weekend in Winter Park this past weekend. All the kids tried skiing. Mason did well with a lesson the first day and then skied with us for 1/2 day. They closed most of the upper lifts due to winds, so it was a short day of skiing. Meg, Max and Tess took lessons for 2 days. Tess didn't ski much the 2nd day, but Meg and Max toughed it out and earned several stickers on their badges from ski school. Max told me he learned to "freestyle". That meant that because it was so windy, the instructor had the kids ski backwards! Meg finally got her turns down and was ready to ski more after ski school was over. We went tubing also. Lots of fun, but CRAZY winds. Kids all loved it and are ready to go back to Colorado!
