Is your son wearing a french maid dress-up costume? Well that is the same question I posed to my daughter Halli who dressed him up. Her reply was because he will let me. Girls will be girls and well I guess boys will be girls too.....for a moment that is. Over course big sister had to get in on the action too!
Was yet another WONDERFUL Christmas. It was so nice to have Uncle Dave, Aunt Mara and Addy join us this year. The morning started early with Elijah waking everyone up at 3 a.m. yelling Santa has come. We let the kids check out and play with their Santa gift for about 15 mins and then sent them back to bed. The older kids had me back up by 5:30 and I held them off until 7 a.m. and then gave them they okay to wake up the babies and everyone else.
The morning started off with our tradition of first recognizing the Birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. We read aloud from Luke, than sang Joy to the World and Away in a Manager.
Then onto Christmas presents. We also start with Santa's gift and then cards from family members.
Since the Mower's came up for Elijah baptism we decided to go have some fun at the City of Rocks and out to the Minidoka Dam. CITY OF ROCKS Casey and I told Dave and Tam how easy it would be for all of us to climb bath tub rock with all the kids. YEAH RIGHT!!! I have no idea how Casey and I did it when our 3 older kids were so tiny. It sure wasn't happening this time around. Dave and Casey went up the first go around, while Tam and I stayed on the ground watching all the kids having fun climbing around and playing. Then Casey and I went up. It was a good out for the day. MINIDOKA DAM This was fall time. The weather was getting a lot cooler but Addy decided since we were at a lake it was time to strip and one by one it starting coming off. She had a blast playing in the water. We also had a fun time playing in the leaves and on the play ground equipment and swings.
