Life Lessons from a 3 year old

Whenever Noah says he's sorry I say, "I forgive you." And he usually says, "I forgive you, too!"

Well, today I asked him, "Do you know what that means? Forgive?"

And he replied, "Yes....love."

Of his crib that is…

Gabe is officially in a toddler bed. At 18 months. After 8 attempts to keep him in his crib yesterday for nap along with an early morning wake-up call from the little guy, we decided it was time to say good-bye to the crib.

So far I think he likes it…maybe a little too much. ;)

He may look innocent in that picture, but don’t be fooled. :) After several attempts to escape from his room, I finally put up the baby gate. It wasn’t as much fun then.

I just checked on him…

We actually won tickets to this (I never win anything!!), and I was so excited to go.  I wasn’t sure if Noah would be scared, but since they were free, why not risk it!  We could just leave.  He ended up LOVING it, and we had a great time with our friends Sophia and Max.

In a nutshell…

In the past two months, we:

Traveled…

To Tulsa

And splashed… And threw water balloons…

And fell in love.

And traveled again…to Colorado

GiGi and PaPa were surprised.

Once there, we hiked…

Rode horses…

Golfed…

Swam…

Went off the diving board for the first time…

And just had an amazing time with family.

And FRIENDS in ABQ!! (How is this the only picture I took??)

During the past two months, we also:

Went to a first summer camp…

Went to the beach.. With GREAT friends!

We swam… And swam…And swam some more!

We played outside…

And inside…

(Fort making at its best…) And honed our Wii skills.

We went to the zoo…Several times…We rode camels…And fed giraffes…And pet stingrays…

And rode flying bananas… And fast roller coasters…And carousels…

We squealed with excitement at the goats...One of us anyway…

And, once again, fell in love.

We’ve been silly…

And smelly…

Smart…

And not so smart…

We’ve gotten stuck…And unstuck.

We’ve met teachers…And gone to school… And wished we’d gone to school… But instead, ate cheerios… And got hair-cuts. And didn’t mind.

We played with friends… in our pjs :)….

And more friends.

And recently, we started soccer…

Again…

And LOVED it!

And once again wished it was me…

To sum it all up, we lived….

And we loved every minute of it!
