Kelsie got baptised on October 31, 2009. It turned out to be a really nice day and Kelsie looked so beautiful in her white dress.
Kelsie is growing up to be such a beautiful little girl. She loves life. She has the funniest laugh that makes you laugh just when she is laughing. She loves dancing and making her brothers dance with her; costumes and all. Kelsie loves all her friends and cousins and loves making new friends too. Kelsie is such a caring and kind hearted little girl; she is always worrying about other peoples feelings and making sure they are happy. When playing soccer she is so so worried about kicking another girl or stepping on their toes that she won't kick the ball when there is alot of players around. She prays every night that her friends are ok and that they will have a good night. Kelsie holds such a special place in my heart and I feel so blessed to have her as my daughter.
Here are a few pictures from her baptism.

Broken Leg
On June 4th, I had to go do sleep study. So I had to spent the night at the hospital. It was a very, very long night. The next day was Kelsie's last day of school and I told the nurse I wanted to leave by 6:00 am. Well I thought everyone would be still asleep so I didn't bother calling Aaron to let him know I was on my way.
Oh before I continue I have to tell you a short story. So Aaron was selling some hay and wanted me to post it on craig's list. So I did, and this was like a few weeks before my sleep study. Anyways, a week after we posted this ad on craigs list we got an email telling us that this guy had been hired to terminate Aaron. And if we paid him $10,000 he wouldn't go through with his order. And he would contact us further and tell us where to meet and we would pay him the remaining $30,000. We didn't do anything about it, we just figured it was some stupid person phishing for our information.
So back to the sleep study. I get home and didn't see Aaron's truck and I just thought maybe he parked back behind the barn and didn't think anything of it. So I open the garage and the door going into the house is wide open. I was thinking "seriously Aaron you went to bed without shutting the door?" Well I walk in the house the couch has been moved and one of Aaron's shoes is on the table. "He must have had a party of something" I start walking to our room and notice the front door wasn't even locked, we always lock all the doors. Then I notice none of the kids are in bed and Aaron wasn't in bed either. It was about 6:30am. So I ran down stairs, 'cause I thought maybe they slept down there, nope no one there. I ran outside to the barn, cause they all had been asking to sleep out there, I looked on the tramp too. I started panicking and freaking out. I tried calling Aaron and he wouldn't answer his phone. So I started running to my car and Aaron called. He asked where I was and I told him I was home. He didn't think I would be home so early. I asked where he was and he said he broke his leg. I totally didn't believe him. So he hands his phone to his dad and his dad asks me where I was again, I told him at home. Dave then tells me the doctor just came in and they would call me back.
So I have no idea where my kids are, Aaron supposedly broke his leg, and I had no idea where he was. I am totally freaked out! I run to my mom's and she is gone and Hollie is sleeping. I wake her up and she says, "Oh he broke his leg, I don't know where the kids are". I run to my car again, and call Aaron, he answers and says they are on our way home. He doesn't tell me anything else but tells me that the kids are with Thad and Angie. I call Thad and he tells me everything. I was seriously a wreck. I was so scared, I really thought that stupid idiot guy from that email was following through on his threat.
Well Aaron and his dad get back and tell me the whole story. Aaron went to play basketball, instead of putting the kids to bed, and jumped for the ball and came down on his ankle wrong and it broke his leg and torn all the ligaments in his ankle and he needs surgery at 10:00 this morning. I was so mad he didn't call or even leave a note. I seriously thought something really bad had happened to my family. He didn't want to mess up my sleep study and didn't think I was going to be home until 8:00.
Well Aaron had his surgery the morning of June 5th and got a 10 inch plate with 8 screws. He had to stay off of his leg for 8 weeks. It was a long 8 weeks. I seriously cried the first 2 weeks. I didn't know what the heck we were going to do. But thanks to all the help from our friends and family we made it through it. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

That day was such a bad day. There was a really bad wind storm that came in that afternoon and blew our tree down. I was so bummed. And my Grandpa was in the hospital from an infection from his back surgery. What a day!

More swimming lessons
We continued another session of swimming lessons for Bridger and Garret.

Kelsie also took lessons. Kelsie is a very good swimmer. When she grows up she wants to be a lifeguard. Kelsie is now on a swimming level of 6; I think that is the last level.

First Grade Program

When the first grade program comes around, you know that school is coming to an end. It is a sad moment for me, it means Kelsie is getting older and bigger and growing-up. Kelsie did so well in first grade. She was one of the top 4 readers in her class (and yes I am bragging) and her favorite subject is math and art of course.
The program was so cute, they sang songs for each season of the year. Kelsie is always fun to watch. She really gets into all of the actions and sings her heart out.
Kelsie you are a beautiful little girl. I am so proud of what you accomplished in second grade. I love you!
