I have to be honest. I doubted myself. Doubted that I would be able to give enough love. Doubted that I would be capable of raising two babies at once. Doubted that I would be able to give them all enough attention. Doubted that I would be able to .... I could keep going ... but the point. I was WRONG.
You will NEVER hear me say that it is easy. Actually, raising twin babies and a toddler is by far the hardest thing I have ever done. Good thing I don't do it alone. My husband is AWESOME!
We have been through a lot since November. I really do need to dedicate a post to that separate. We are doing really well despite all of the change. Our family is closer than ever. Our pastor hit the nail on the head at Church on Sunday. Your problems in life are what help you mature. He reminds us that God uses all things in our life for our life. He never waste time, he never wastes experiences. These experiences have matured us, they have matured our ability to make decisions for ourselves, for our children.
I feel like I have really left a lot out of the blog on what has been going on behind the scenes. Honestly, I think it has all been so overwhelming that I just did not have the energy to sit down and "lay it all out." Now that I look back, I have really been trying to just soak it all in. I am just trying sort out the roller coaster of emotions, and focus on what is important. Remembering the 1st year the twins’ life w/o all of the chaos. I am just trying to realize what is important to a 3 year old, and how much he needs me to communicate with him at his level, not my level. I love communicating at his level, it is actually a good stress reliever. Nothing like winding down from a hard day at work, by discussing the rules of soccer with a 3 year old, and of course how important it is to play with the blue soccer ball (his favorite.)
The babies are already 10 months old! I have been set back a little bit by this. They are growing so fast. I am trying to keep up! Tyson is starting back to school this week. He is so excited ... he told me he was ready to see his friends ... he wanted to know if his Ohio friends would be there. I let him know he would be making new friends. He was so sweet, he said "will they love me?"
Grandma and Grandpa Rose took the trio to get their pictures taken. It was an adventure for them, but the pictures turned out great!
Dakota - 17 lbs
Jaxson 15.5 lbs
Jaxson passed his sister up in height but she contuines weigh more! They are starting on table food this week. They are cleared on all fruits and veggies ... so far doing great with everything!!
Till next time!

A little comparison ...
Maybe she is going to be just like her mom after all ...
My mom found this picture of me ... I could not help but to post it. Dakota has been showing us little bit of personality lately. Apparently, I have no one to blame that on but myself!
Looks like I was the same way!

What State do we live in?
What is wrong with this picture?
Tyson could not wait to get outside ... we over-dressed him a bit. His layers came off little by little once he was outside. It got up to 40 and all of the snow melted by the end of the day ...
We have a little piano player on our hands ...
Brian job update: The search is going great. We are really starting to settle in. Brian was offered a job ... HOORAY! He actually still has a few things in the pipeline. Thanks for all of your prayers. We really feel like this was a good move for our family. We have trust in the Lord's plan, and as always, He has come through for us.
Hope everyone had a great VALENTINE'S DAY!!
It sure did feel like we were back in the Midwest this past weekend. We heard on the news, this was the most snow the State had seen in the past 15 years! So ... did we bring it? Maybe!!

As for the rest of us ... we stayed inside!

One Year ago!
Just one short year ago ... I looked like this!
From that day I have successfully delivered twins, held a full time job, been a stay at home mom, went back to working full time, potty trained a toddler, and moved my family to another State ... just to name a few!!
The past 9 months with the babies have been incredible! They were these tiny, fragile little beings ...
That have grown to know each other ...
that have COMPLETLEY different personalities ...
and have COMPLETLEY changed my world!
One year ago ... I had one sweet boy
Whose world was turned upside down ... but LOVES every moment of it!
Now we have three of the most beautiful blessings ...
And they do exhaust him too!
9 Month check up is next week so stay tuned for stats!
