On January 20, 2012 My Dad went to the hospital with chest pain... he was having a small heart attack. He was sent by ambulence with my mom following in her car to Provo for surgery. He spend a few day in provo having surgery and waiting to see if things were working, finally it was decided to lifeflight him to SLC to a larger hospital that had more resources. After fighting for 11 long days his heart was too tired and worn out that it stopped, the drs. tried hard to save him. But it was his time to rest. On February 6, 2012 we met together as a family to pray, cry, laugh, and say goodbye to the most amazing dad anyone could ever have, he taught me everything. The whole day was so spiritually draining and special that I will never forget how I felt.

I know that Heavenly Father organizes us into families for a reason. I also know that my family will be forever. I am so blessed and happy that my parents went to the Provo Temple to seal and bind our family together forever. I am so grateful that Steven and I have sealed our tiny, little family together. I don't think I could function if I knew I wouldn't get to spend eternity with Steven. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is amazing and I know that it is true.

He was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Eagle Scout, Woodbadge trained and proud to be a General. He was a long time loyal employee of Castleview Hospital. He was a self taught man who loved the out-of-doors. He was a gentle man whose ability to listen to others was a virtue and the reason why he was beloved by so many. We will miss his wise counsel.
