Charles Madison McMillan was born on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 2:19 pm. We will call him Charlie, after my sweet Dad. He weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz. and is 19 inches long. He's got a head full of dark hair, and I think he's just perfect!! We were surprised...he wasn't supposed to come for another week! I started having some pain on Tuesday afternoon and went in on Wednesday morning just to check things out and everything looked fine. My doctor did an ultrasound just to make sure all bases were covered, and they discovered that I hardly had any amniotic fluid left. So, he literally sent me across the street to the hospital and delivered Charlie by c-section 3 hours later!

Even though the delivery happened super fast, Whitney and Emily were still somehow able to find sitters and make it to the hospital, which meant the world to me. Friends are the best!
I don't have any pictures yet of big brother (we mostly have him and his reaction on video), but he was SO excited to have a little brother and he has been the sweetest thing EVER. Today at lunch, he got up from the table and went to go sit by Charlie. I asked him to come finish his lunch and he said, "No, I just want to hang out with Charlie." How could I say no to that??
