Liam Starts Preschool!

Today was Liam's first day at Head Start. We lucked out this year in that someone in our Ward is actually one of his teachers at school! So at the end of the day today she said, I'll see you on Sunday! Which is kind of awesome. Anyway, at Head Start they ask the parent(s) to stay for the whole first day. It was great, until I noticed that it was only 10:15 (preschool is kind of boring if you're over 5!) He had a fantastic time and looked adorable all day, as usual.

He looked so cute today that even Grandpa Lance wanted to make sure I would take pictures. Of course I'm going to take pictures! Look at him!

This is his cubby with his picture of us! He was pretty excited about it.

His favorite part of the whole day was riding bikes on the playground.

After it was over we stopped at the grocery store and there were kid size carts and he got to push it all around, which he loved, until he got "tired" and want me to just push him in it. He found out it doesn't work that way, but he got chocolate out of the trip so he didn't care too much.

So now all the kiddos are in school! Phew!

Kindergarten!

When I registered Nick and Eric for school I asked that they be put in the same class, and on the morning schedule. I was told that the morning class was first come first serve, but it should be fine. Then Liam was put into afternoon preschool, I panicked and asked that he get moved to the morning class. It was easy peasy because I asked early. Then of course Nick and Eric are given different teachers and put in the afternoon! Blarg! I'm a little stressed about it, but it will all work out. Anywho, today was Nick and Eric's first day! They were very excited to be so big and have backpacks. Nicholas said about 20 times, "I can't believe it's my first day at SCHOOL!" Eric was having an emotional morning, (considering this describes most morning with Eric it wasn't a huge deal.) But I have high hopes of him pulling out of his funk while he's a school, to busy to be grumpy about the horrible hand life has dealt him. Nick is super social and met a boy immediately became best friends because they were both 5. If this is his only criteria I have a feeling he will have a LOT of best friends at the end of the day. So yeah, that's that! Liam's first day of preschool is tomorrow and we will see pictures of that experience then!

Ketchup

Ok!

I was computer-less for MONTHS, and now I am back. Trying to catch up is horrible! So I'm going to do one quick post to bring it back to NOW. My last post was from last fall, and we are practically there again, arg! So here goes:

After Nick and Eric's 5th birthday we had Halloween. Eric was a Mummy, Nick was Batman and Liam was again, a pirate. He just loves pirates ok!? (None of the pictures in this post are edited, so...sorry)

In November we had Liam's 4th birthday!

Fun stuff! Next was Ryan's birthday.

Not as much fanfare but chocolate frosting is always a good thing. In December Ryan won a trip to Vegas through his work, so we managed a little getaway!

I was having a blast until my glasses broke. Then I was blind our whole last day. Sadness.

Then of course came Christmas! It was magical as always but I'm not posting a billion pics, just one cute one.

Aw!

Anyways, so now it's Utah and Winter and horrible. It lasted FOREVER. With a couple fun things squeezed in.

 We made a snowman.

Eric dressed up as his Aunt Sarah.

We also played a lot with our Dog-in-Law, Baxter. Who loves me the most. ;) Finally the weather got warmer and we scraped together our pennies for a trip to DISNEYLAND! (Seriously, after winter it was like the angels were singing all over the place.)

Image
Vegas book ended our trip. There were actually a lot of cool things we did there with the kids. If only there were less nearly naked women wandering around.

 The beach!

It was the best vacation ever!

Not long after this Summer officially started, Nick and Eric wrapped up their first year of preschool. Here are the before and afters...I fail at the after. It was a pretty stressful day really. They are huge though, what the crap!? Stop growing children!

Our summer has been a busy one, though I haven't taken many pictures. I have some from a recent trip to the zoo and to the Pioneer Day Extravaganza in Provo. After that, ladies and gentleman...WE ARE UP TO DATE! WAHOO!
