September Fun!
September was a busy but fun month for us! We made a trip to the zoo one Saturday since the weather cooled off some! It was so much fun! Andi is at such a good age for the zoo. She loved all the animals and knew their names, but the giraffes, elephants, and monkeys were her favorites! She even picked out and purchased a cute giraffe with some of her birthday money.

Andi got a new pair of pink cowgirl boots that I found at a sale. She loves wearing them around! Took her a bit to get used to them! We'll definitely be taking them to Grammy and Grumpy's farm next time we go!
Cody has been working on our sprinkler system this summer and got it working! We were testing it out one Friday night when Andi decided to have a little fun!
We went to the park one morning. Andi loved the monkey bars (with Daddy's help of course). She was kind of timid on the slide, but Daddy made it fun!
We had friends over to watch the AR game one weekend recently. Of course I put Andi in her Razorback Cheerleader outfit! It was so cute on her with her Razorback bow (as she calls it)! Still working on calling those Hogs!
I took her outside to take some pics one Sunday after church. I asked her to smile for me, and this is what I got...such a ham! :)
I can't believe she's another month older! 2 years and 1 month! Wow! She's growing up so quickly! It's so neat to watch her learn new things each day and try to do everything herself! We love our little girl!

Andi's 2nd Birthday
Andi's birthday was on Monday, but we celebrated at church on Sunday. She wore her pretty birthday dress to church. They always announce the kids' birthdays and make them stand up. Andi didn't want to stand up in the pew by herself so I had to stand up with her and hold her! Stinker! Love that dress though!
Andi's actual birthday was a lot of fun too! We took her out to dinner at a local Mexican restaurant since she loves salsa, cheese dip, and dipping her food right now! Perfect place! Then we came home, enjoyed some more beachball cupcakes, and opened gifts from her family. She got some wonderful gifts from her family! More jewelry, a jewelry box to hold all of it (thankfully!), more purses, some singing cards with money inside, an iron and ironing board (she loved my niece's so we had to get her one), and some other fun gifts that I can't think of right now! She loved all of it so much she didn't want to go to bed and put her new toys away!

She insisted that she wear her new crown and earrings to dinner!

So far, 2 had been an adventure! She's talking so much these days! It's unbelievable! She loves to pretend play and is definitely a little mommy in training! She's completely potty trained too which is truly a blessing! She decided to do it and did it all by herself the day before she turned 2! We think she's pretty perfect if you ask us! :) Well, for a 2 year old that is!
Andi turned 2!
Life has been crazy for us over the last couple of months! So...we're gonna catch up some!
Andi turned 2 on August 9th, 2010. She had a great 2nd birthday which included a party with friends on Saturday and dinner out and a party with family on Monday. I really can't believe she is 2 now! She definitely acts like a 2 year old though! Her favorite sayings are: "I do it!" and "I don't like it!" which sounds more like "I don't yike it!". We love it! Honestly, neither saying comes out of her mouth in a snotty tone which we love too!
Her big party with friends was a summertime water fun party! It was great! The kids played in the pool, slip-n-slide, sprinkler, etc. We enjoyed some yummy beach ball cookies (made by Mama) and beach/water themed snacks: goldfish, gummy life savers, gummy octupus candies, and of course, beachball cupcakes (again, made by Mama)! I was pleased with how my cupcakes and cookies turned out! Andi received lots of gifts that she absolutely loved! Dolls, purses, jewelry, doll bed, high chair, table set, etc. etc. etc. Her friends definitely know her well! The party was just the perfect summertime party! I'm not sure how I'll top it next year!

Cute even with blue icing on her face!

23 Months Old!
Andi is now 23 months old! I can't believe it!!! The time is going by so quickly! I need to stop blinking! She's such a busy little girl! It's hard to keep up with her, but it's so much fun trying! She's still talking up a storm and playing with her baby dolls! She's pretending so much these days! I love watching her play! Naps are her least favorite time of day right now, but she has to have one to re-energize her batteries! I don't know how she does all she does in a day! Terrible two's have arrived in some areas (like eating out in restaurants so it's good that we don't do that often!), but she's still our sweet girl who likes to mind and please Mama and Dada for the most part. We're so excited to celebrate her 2nd birthday with her next month! Really can't believe it's time to start planning that party!

July 2010
We visited Grammy and Grumpy in July and had a great time on the farm! Andi loved the big pool...well, she actually loved the slide more than being in the pool, I guess. That's all she wanted to do!

She also loved Grumpy's horses. She would spend hours at the fence petting them if we had let her. She was a little timid when it came to riding one, but she warmed up to the idea. We may have a horse whisperer on our hands!
She enjoyed the "works" as she called them on the 4th of July. She's definitely our little sparkler!
Once we got home, she had apparently picked up a few new habits. One of which you'll see below. I found her on the couch one afternoon with her leg propped up and "texting" on a calculator she had found. So funny! She'll soon surpass her mother's technology knowledge! We're having a great summer so far! It's going by too quickly!
22 Months Old
Andi turned 22 months old on June 9th. It's unbelievable to me that she's almost 2!!! She's doing so much these days! Talking more and more (which means we're learning a new language!). Playing with her dolls, purses, play jewelry, plastic animals, reading books, etc. etc. etc. She loves to be outside and to swim! She's so sweet but also has a little daredevil in her too! She's very particular about things and will let you know if she doesn't like the way you hold her baby or whatever it is she's asking you to do. :) She's so much fun and such a blessing to us each day!

June 2010 Fun Summer!
Andi loves reading books these days! I walked in her room (she had been really quiet for a while which is never good) and found her in a pile of books by her bookshelf. Too cute to not take a pic of! Hopefully her love of reading will stay with her for a long time!
She also loves her babies! Found her in her room one day feeding baby at her table. She takes a baby everywhere with her and can't go to sleep without a couple in her bed! Such a girly girl!
She's still loving her pool! She has gotten a little braver with the slide going face first and even of the wrong end of the slide into the deeper end of the pool. She's a little like her Dada, I think! :)

On Father's Day, Andi decided to share her toys with Cody! She kept bringing him toys until he couldn't hold anything else!
Andi is learning about using the potty. One afternoon I walked in and found her teaching her baby about potty training! Maybe this will help us in our endeavor! :)
We visited Mimi and Pappy in June and went to play at the playground around Bella Vista lake. She enjoyed it. Wasn't too sure about the bridge though! She's such a ham!
