December & Christmas time

I can't believe we're 3 days from Christmas! This month has flown by! We've really enjoyed Andi being more involved in Christmas this year as compared to last year when she was only 4 months old. Our trip to see Santa was definitely different this year! Last year, she slept peacefully in his arms as she got her photo taken. This year, not so much!

ImageStill a cute picture and fun memory though!

We're so thankful for the blessing that Andi is to us. We laugh each day with her and can't believe the little bits of us that we see in her each day.

She has some beautiful Christmas dresses that I've so loved dressing her in this season. I'm always sad to put away her clothes when she has outgrown them or another holiday season has passed. It just means that time continues to pass quickly. This is one of my favorite Christmas dresses from this year!Image

Andi and I have really been enjoying our time at home with each other lately since we've had so much to do! Today, as I was baking cookies, I walked into the living room to find her peeking under the Christmas tree! She had gotten several of the gifts out and was trying to open them. The one in this picture is actually her gift! Stinker! I explained why she can't have them yet, and we put them back under the tree for now. It's amazing how early they learn about presents!

Andi and I took some time today to make some Christmas cookies. She "helped" me and we enjoyed our time together. She enjoyed tasting the cookies once they were finished too!

This is the Benton courthouse and downtown square. They have a beautiful lights display. We enjoyed walking downtown and seeing the lights together a few weeks ago after the Christmas parade.

This was our Christmas card picture this year. Not exactly what I had hoped for since it wasn't in front of the Christmas tree, but it was the best we could do with our very active 16 month old! It is still a precious picture of our little angel though!

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your families!

November and Thanksgiving

November flew by! We were out of town several weekends and a whole week at Thanksgiving! We had lots of fun though! Here are some pics and quick updates from November!

We went outside one November afternoon and watched Andi play in the leaves before Daddy mowed them all up! She loved the leaves! We had to put her Razorback onesie on for game day too!ImageImageImageHere are a few of her 15 month photos. It's getting harder and harder to photograph her since she is sooooo mobile and sooooo active these days! She won't sit still for anything (as you can see in her photos)! She's still a lot of fun! Getting into everything and making all kinds of messes! She won't wear a bow to save her life, and Mommy isn't giving up that battle! :) At least she looks like a little girl even without her bow! ImageImageImageImageThanksgiving was a wonderful time for our family this year. We have so much to be thankful for including Andi. I can't believe that it was a year ago when she rolled over for the 1st time on Thanksgiving! It just doesn't seem possible that she's been with us for over a year! She loved Thanksgiving dinner! Especially the dressing! ImageImageImageWhile visiting for Thanksgiving, Mimi found a bunch of Cody's old toys in her attic. Here Andi and Cody are playing with a few of his old G.I. Joe toys. ImageAndi's favorite thing is to carry several of her stuffed animals around. Here she's having her Daddy carry her and some of her stuffed animals.
ImageThis is just a fun one of our little daredevil! She loves to climb on anything and everything! This has sense been put away since she showed us that she wasn't ready to play with it! ImageHere are a few holiday pics we took over Thanksgiving break. These aren't what we used for our Christmas card though so you're not getting a sneak peek! I tried to take Andi's picture in front of our Christmas tree when we got home, but she didn't like standing or sitting by the tree for some reason. She definitely knows her likes and dislikes and lets you know them too!

Halloween

Well, it's been a little while since Halloween, and we've been so busy that I haven't had time to update the blog. Andi is napping now so I thought this would be a great chance to catch up some!

Halloween was a lot of fun for us this year with Andi! She got to dress up and Trunk-or-Treat at our church carnival and she got to Trick-or-Treat at her Mother's Day Out program as well. She didn't mind her costume too much, and we just thought she made the cutest flower ever! We didn't take her out on Halloween since there's only 1 other house in our neighborhood, and we don't have family nearby to visit. Plus, she got a lot of candy from T or Ting that she didn't need any more since she can't even eat it! :)

Here are some sweet pics of our flower!

Fall Fun!

October has been a busy yet fun month for us. We've visited family, had family visit us, spent lots of time with our friends, and had some fun family time to ourselves too. We've watched the Razorbacks play, visited a Pumpkin Patch in Bryant, and done some fun things around the house too. Andi is so much fun these days! She definitely has a personality and doesn't mind showing it! :) She loves to laugh and loves to play with her dogs. She barks whenever she sees a dog whether in real life or on TV. She also barks at all other animals since she thinks that's the sound they make too. :) She's very playful and just an overall happy child which we are thankful for. Here are several pictures of our October adventures! Enjoy!

Enjoying her first candycorn pumpkin! She LOVED it!

Saline County Fair

Yep, we took Andi to the Saline County Fair the other night! It was actually a lot fun! The only ride that was appropriate for Andi's age was the carousel, and she loved it! After we rode the carousel a couple of times, we walked around the barns and looked at the animals. We encountered some pretty cute animals as well as some pretty funny animals! Andi got to pet a bunny and see lots of bunnies, chickens, turkeys, quails, horses, cows, goats, lambs, pigs, etc. etc. etc. The funniest animal and most interested in Andi was the pig! He was in our faces snorting and trying to get to her to give her a big slobbery kiss I'm sure! She wasn't so in love with him though! ImageImageImageImageImage
