Andi turned 5 months old on January 9th.

It's unreal to think that I have a 5 month old baby! She celebrated her 5 month birthday a few days early by sitting up on her own.

She had been working on it for several days/weeks and was finally able to do it for an extended period without falling over. One day she even balanced and caught herself before she fell over. It's so neat to see her doing all of these fun things!
She had her first drink from a sippy cup today. The pediatrician told me that I need to give Andi a vitamin supplement so we tried to disguise the horrible tasting drops in some juice. She's either smarter than we think or a very stubborn child because she wouldn't take them even in the juice. So if any of you mom's out there have any ideas on how to get a 5 month old to take some yucky tasting drops, please let me know!!! She has also started reaching out for her toys and us when she wants to be picked up. It's the sweetest thing to see those little arms reaching up for you. And my favorite new thing she does is gives kisses. She used to suck on your cheek when she was hungry, but now she is giving these sweet slobbery kisses and not expecting food in return! It's so precious! I could go on and on for days about how wonderful she is!

Here she is watching her "TV". It's a cute rainforest that lights up, moves, and plays music. Her cousin Julia gave it to her for Christmas and she loves it as you can see!
