Saline County Fair

Yep, we took Andi to the Saline County Fair the other night! It was actually a lot fun! The only ride that was appropriate for Andi's age was the carousel, and she loved it! After we rode the carousel a couple of times, we walked around the barns and looked at the animals. We encountered some pretty cute animals as well as some pretty funny animals! Andi got to pet a bunny and see lots of bunnies, chickens, turkeys, quails, horses, cows, goats, lambs, pigs, etc. etc. etc. The funniest animal and most interested in Andi was the pig! He was in our faces snorting and trying to get to her to give her a big slobbery kiss I'm sure! She wasn't so in love with him though!

Fun Times!

Andi is getting so adventurous these days! She LOVES climbing on everything! Boxes, stools, couches, chairs, everything! Last night, Cody had the step stool out and she decided to climb on it. She climbed to the top step all by herself! She holds on tightly and is always aware of where the ground is. She doesn't let go until her foot touches the ground. Cody was right next to her even though you can't see him in the picture. :)She still loves her baths too, and we recently got her basketball game out for bath time. Cody loves this game since he is a basketball player. He's taught Andi how to shoot baskets in the bath. :) She's just so much fun! We love this age!

Sick Visit

Well, Andi made a sick visit to the Dr. yesterday. Good news is...it's not the flu! Bad news is...she's got a double ear infection and had been running fever as high as 103.7. Today is a much better day for sure! Fever was gone as of 5:30am and she's feeling some better. Taking meds to help her ears get better though.

On another note, she now weighs 18 pounds! They weighed her yesterday on her 13 month birthday so in a little less than a month, she has gone from 16 lbs. 11 oz. to 18 lbs. 2 oz. Looks like good ole cows milk is helping her put on some weight and grow a bit! Maybe she'll get to turn around in her carseat before she's 2 afterall! :)

Summer Fun

The weather here has been wonderful lately so we've been playing outside a lot on these nice cool days. Here are some fun summer shots of Andi playing on her new playground and swimming that I've taken recently. We also visited our family for Karolynn's (Cody's little sister) birthday party. It was Andi's first time at Chuck E. Cheese so here are a few pics of that too. Enjoy!
