Mother's Day and 21 Months Old
What a wonderful day today has been! I have a sweet husband and a precious daughter who have made this day so special for me! I love being a mom, and I could never have imagined how much I'd love this little girl we've been blessed with.
Andi turned 21 months old today! We are quickly approaching 2 which is unbelievable to me!

Andi's 1st Pigtails!
Andi wore her first pigtails (or puppy dog ears as I've heard some ladies call them lately)! I loved them, and we'll definitely be doing them again! When I found out we were going to have a girl, fixing her hair was one of the things I was nervous about. Don't know why, I just was. But now, I've realized how much fun fixing her hair is! If only she'd keep a bow in for more than a couple of minutes! :)
Nap Hair, Mama's Blush, and the Zoo
What do these 3 things have in common? Andi!
She woke up from nap one day with the cutest hairdo I've ever seen! I had to take her picture of course!
She's always getting into things so why was I surprised when I found her with my blush one afternoon? She had climbed on my bottom drawer in the bathroom in order to reach the top drawer, and she had gotten out my blush. She had it all over her face and the floor, and she was ready to put some on Mama too! See what I mean about imitating everything!
We made a trip to the zoo one morning after she had been sick for several days. We wanted to get out of the house and celebrate the fact that she was feeling better! She loved the large animals like the giraffes and elephants, and she loved the busy animals like the monkeys, birds, and some of the bears who were awake. She made all of her animal noises as we made our way through the zoo. It was definitely a fun trip to the zoo!
Notice in this last pic that she is missing a shoe! Yep...lost a shoe at the zoo! So, I proceeded to retrace our steps and walk around the zoo 2 more times in the 80+ degree Little Rock weather! It was not fun! Finally, I decided the lost shoe was a lost cause and I decided we'd leave. I exited through the gift shop and decided to stop and ask if anyone had turned in a shoe. The worker said someone had just a couple of minutes ago! Thank goodness I made that extra lap around the zoo or the shoe wouldn't have been in the gift shop when we left! :)

20 Months and a New Playset!
Andi turned 20 months old in April! It's crazy how the time if flying! She loves to play with dolls and imitates a lot of what she sees from Cody, me, and her MDO teachers with her babies. It's so sweet! She got a new outdoor playset in April too. It's "new to us", but it's just perfect and she loves it! We can't get her out of the race car swing sometimes, and she loves the slide even though it's very high up and goes very fast!
