After a week of celebrating after Christmas we had a bowling birthday party for Warner. He had all his cousins and grandparents there! Even ones who traveled far. Thank you!! He loved everything! From the bendaroo's the "halky talkies", Diego games, memory, bat mobile for his bat cave...this kid was spoiled!

Christmas Day
All in all it was a wonderful day! We got up early, destroyed the grandparents house in a matter of mins. Had our usual yummy omelets and then off to Grandpa Warner's house. We made it back to Salina in time to play some Mario Bros on the Wii. I was reliving my Nintendo glory days!!

Christmas Eve
Searching for the perfect Christmas Tree
Every year it's a tradition to go out and find our families perfect Christmas tree. EVERY year Ryan and I seem to get stuck. But fear not.....Joe is always there in his Ford to pull us out! Still trying to convince Ryan Ford is the way to go. Until then we will sit in snow in his Dodge!!
Abbi just loving being outside in the cold.
Ryan found this Charlie Brown Christmas tree. The kids loved it. Warner insisted we bring it home for his room. On our way home we told him it blew out. This kid is no dummy. He found it the min. we got home. We made a compromise and bought him a fake little tree at Wal Mart. That worked until Abbi started pulling off all the lights and eating them. So Warner was tree less this year!

Warner and Sydney laying in the snow. There wasn't a ton of snow so if they found some they just laid in it.

Home for the Holidays
Home for the Holidays and Santa
While we were at the Home for the Holiday's on Main Street the kids met up with Santa. Warner was sure to tell him how badly he wants a Leapster. That's it, just one present!! He's going easy on Santa this year!!
As for Abbi she wasn't so sure about "anta" as she puts it. All she wanted was to get off his lap!! But if she would have stayed and told Santa what she wanted I'm sure it would have been a BUNCH of baby dolls!!

Family pictures
This will be my final post for now.....I'm all caught up and can work on getting my book printed for last year!! Yahooo!!
Bath time
My mom use to make all new babies these cute towels. My wonderful mother in law took it upon herself to learn how to make them. I love it!! And I love my mother in law for always being so thoughtful and taking such good care of us. I think my mom hand picked her for me, because she knew I was going to need her. Sophie will treasure this forever.
First snow day
Last week we had our cousin Easton over for the night. It happened to snow and the kids were so excited to go out and play in it....even without gloves. Warner kept getting his snow clothes back on through out the day. It's always exciting to see winter come!!
Just a little side note.....I told Warner he needed to come eat lunch the other day and he told me "Mom I already ate" Really Warner, what did you eat? "I ate a snow ball" I love it!! If only I got full from eating snowballs.

My buffalo hunt!
Ryan and I with the buffalo. We worked hard to get this cow. Ryan spotted a herd from far away. He couldn't figure out how we were going to get to it until he spoted a fence. He followed the fence line until he found the road. So we headed over on our four wheeler and then about a mile before we got to them we snuck in on the herd and got it. I was so excited because I wanted to get home to my babies so bad.
Steve was pretty excited we got to use his Jeep and wench to pull the buffalo up the hill!!
My man on the look out for the buffalo. We spent a lot of time doing this....talking to each other on the radios to see what everyone else was seeing!
My helpers throughout the week minus Ty. How much fun was it to hunt with my favorite guys!
We got to see a lot of this!! Isn't it beautiful!

A name and a blessing
On November 1st our sweet Sophie received a name and a blessing. What a special day this is. Ryan gave her a beautiful blessing. I only wish I had my grandmother's talent of short hand to write it all down. We are so happy this special spirit has become part of our family. We love her so much. We are thankful for all the love and support we have been given. For the many who traveled far to be here, thank you.
Sweet Sophie Lorraine

Lynzie and Kristie
Ryan's old roommate Ray and Sophie's uncle Joe
Grandpa Warner with Sophie
Ryan, Great Grandma Roberts and Grandpa Roberts (Grandma Roberts was home sick with the flu.....but there in spirit)
After everyone had gone home I had a moment to sit on the couch and just hold and love on my baby. As I was holding her she was looking else where and just smiling and talking. She only does this if someone is talking to her. I had a over whelming feeling that her grandma Lorraine was there with us. What a perfect day!!
Roberts second annual Halloween party!
On Halloween we had our annual Halloween party with the Roberts family. It was such a hectic day.....started at the trunk or treat in Salina, then to the carnival, lunch, family pictures and finally the party! Because we had such a crazy day the only game we ended up playing was a cake walk. But everyone had fun just getting together, dressing up and having some good laughs!

Pumpkin Time
I absolutely LOVE this time of year. One thing that I love is to make dinner in a pumpkin. That's right.....this is what we ate for dinner Monday night!!
Why not carve pumpkins after wards! Warner has been so excited all season to make a Jack-O-Lantern. Can you tell?
Lets open it up and see what's inside.
