Lots of busyness!

Abby and I went to the zoo with Aunt Brenda (of course she and I forgot our cameras so we did not take and pictures) but while we were waiting for Aunt Brenda to get there, Abby decided she was going to sit at her special table that Oma and Opa got her and draw some pictures for everyone. She loves her table and has so much fun sitting at it and coloring and drawing.


Since the last entry, a few things have happened. We tried to open our pool so that we could start swimming, only to find out that there is a huge whole in the liner that is going to cost of some where in the neighborhood of $2500 to fix. Needless to say. we have not fixed it yet and we are not sure if we are going to fix it at all. We will see. But. that put a big damper and the baby and I's summer plans. So, last week we bought the baby a new water/sand outside play table and we just got that today and set it up. Finally, the baby and I were able to get outside and play in the water. She loved the table and I think we are going to get lots of use out of it.

Bubbles, Bubbles, and more Bubbles

When Abby got home from Oma and Opa yesterday, her Mimi and Grandpa came over to see her and they brought her some bubbles. Abby had not seen bubbles since last summer and when she first saw them, she was really scared of them. She ran to Mimi and she did not want anything to do with them. But, after a while, she decided she liked them and really enjoyed playing with them. We got some really GREAT pictures of her. Here are some of them. There is also a picture that Aunt Sheila sent me that she took a couple of months ago walking on the pier.

Finally Here comes SUMMER!

I just thought I would put up some fun pictures we have already taken of Abby this summer. She got a new stroller from Mimi and Grandpa and she loves pushing it around. She also now loves wearing her sunglasses. She did not love them before, but suddenly she wants them on all of the time. especially her pink "Hello Kitty" ones she got for her birthday. I can already tell we are going to have sooo much fun this summer. I am already loving it!

Summer fun.!

Summer break has finally begun here in the Polesovsky, however, before we begin summer, we had a little pre-summer fun we had to deal with. We picked Abby up at daycare on Thursday and noticed that there was some goop in her eye. We did not really think anything of it until about 2 hours later and her eye was swollen almost shut and oozing greenish yellow discharge. At this point we were pretty sure she had an eye infection. By that time the dr's office was closed of course so after a better than expected eveing, we called the dr and go in first thing Friday morning to get checked. She is perfectly healthy except for the extremely contagious pink-eye she hads contracted. Eric and I are looking forward to getting it soon as well :) So our poor baby has her first prescription of her short life. Eveydrops for pink eye. She also looks like a prize fighter after a big bout. Hopefully she won and the other guy looks worse :) Anyway, I took some pics of her really cute eye!! Looks like the summer is off to a GREAT start!
