our trip to Maryland/D.C.

Ben had a week off of school so we decided to head up to Maryland and visit our sweet friends Ry, Jeri and Avary Austin. We had so much fun! We went to the inner harbor, the aquarium, had a famous Maryland crab dinner, went to D.C. and saw all the amazing sights, and just had fun hanging out with our friends. Sophie has officially found her best friend. Sophie and Avary are only a couple months apart and played so cute together. They would hold hands in their car seats and chase each other around the house, it was so cute! I think Sophie had just has much fun as we did. It was so nice for Ben to get away from school and just relax. Thanks again Austin’s for showing us such a good time!

I love Valentine's Day! I think it is the cutest holiday. What a fun day to reflect on our loved ones. I am so very thankful for my sweet husband and our little baby girl Sophie. I love them very much! I am also grateful for great friends and amazing family! Here's to you!!

MITT, MITT, MITT!!!

Mitt Romney came to Nashville while me and Sophie were gone. Ben (being a big fan of his) went to his rally at the Pancake Pantry. Ben was so excited to meet him! Sadly he won't be our President but we still love him!

Welcome Home Tornado Style

Last night me and Sophie flew in from Utah. Sadly our timing wasn't the best. Right after we landed we had a strong tornado warning. So while we were at the airport they had everyone go into the bathrooms to seek shelter. After it passed they let us go home and then at 2 a.m. the sirens went off again waking us up for another one. Sadly it ended up killing 48 people from ( GA to KY). Thankfully we didn't have any damge in our area. I am beginning to think I like the snow a lot more than tornados.

Oh what FUN to be ONE! (almost)

We celebrated Sophie's birthday a little early while we were in Utah so her grandparents and family didn't have to miss out on her first birthday. We had a little party at my parents house, we had the Rabe's and the Beagley's (her 3rd set of grandparents) over for some cake and ice cream. My mom made Sophie her own cute little cake. She was so funny, she ate her cake very slow but seemed to like it.

Oh and she loved her glow worm!

Are you Serious???

Well while we were in good old UT it was snowing as most of you know, but I just couldn't get over how much snow they have! I don't ever remember a winter with this much snow! It was beautiful!! Ben is so sad that UT is having a great ski season the first winter we move away. Hopefully they will have more to come!

Welcome HOME Elder Crowell!!!!

Me and Sophie went to Utah to welcome my little brother home from his Mission. He served in the Atlanta GA North mission and loved it!! It was fun to have him meet Sophie for the first time. We had so much fun just hanging out with the family! We are so happy Derek is home! He is one fun little brother!
