Family Photos

It's been a while since I've posted anything. Life has just been busy lately...I forget to update!
We are thankful to have secure jobs right now with the way the economy is going. I feel so sad for those families who've lost jobs due to the sinking economy and I almost feel guilty celebrating a Christmas this year, knowing that there are some families that aren't going to be able to.
My in-laws (a very large family when all the aunts and uncles and cousins are together) decided this year that we'd donate money as families and give to a charity or an organization in need so they could provide a Christmas for someone in need. I am happy for that.
I recently switched jobs....still doing nursing, but different area. I'm working in the family maternity center at the hospital. I LOVE IT!!!! Such a fun place to work and a great group of girls to work with!!! PLUS...I get to see lots of cute newborns...who can't appreciate that?

Potty Training!!!

Well...the time has come....POTTY TRAINING!!!!
Taeshaun has been doing well. When we got back from our trip to Vegas in September, Tae was working on going potty in the big boy potty while he stayed with my mother in law. Once we returned....he's been pretty successful in going in the big boy potty.
He tells us "potty" and does the potty dance and then runs to the bathroom to go!
He now wears big boy undies and has hardly had any accidents. I am so proud of him...he gets "M&Ms" when he is successful. He even tries to give me some for "mommy pottied". Cutie!!
My...he just keeps getting bigger and bigger.....it's amazing how independant he's becoming. He tells me "no Tae" (for him to do things) and he's also into saying "no mine!" YIKES!!!!
Life just keeps getting richer with him!!

Bronco season begins!!!!

The time has come!!!!! Our most favorite time of year...BSU football!!! YEAH!!!
We had to go to the Bronco shop to upgrade to the newest Bronco gear! Tae was in heaven the minute we walked into the store. He yells out...."oh....broncos!!!"
Tonight is the season opener and we can't wait to hit up the tailgating and watch Taeshaun's face as he gets to the stadium to see all the fans! He loved it last year and I'm sure this year will be even better!

Reach out and give!!!

I am just sick thinking about the families that lost their homes in the horrible SE Boise fires! It just breaks my heart.

It just so happens that one of the families that lost their home is a friend of my mom's. She is 33 weeks pregnant and is due in October, they had just finished their baby nursery and were counting down the days til their welcoming of their new baby boy. They came home from dinner Monday night to find their home in flames. Their home was a total loss.

I want to help out anyway that I can and am asking anyone that would like to donate some money towards a Babies R Us gift card, please let me know! Email me at

Tae turns 2!!!!

Taeshaun has turned TWO!!! It's so hard to belive that my little "baby" has grown up so much! He's talking more, running crazy, throwing ball with daddy, kicks the soccer ball around (and is pretty good too!!), telling me "no", flirting with the ladies (watch out girls, he's a knock out!), playing with friends, and so much more!

He is such a blessing! I am so amazed at how much of a character he is. He has such a fun personality and is so animated. He really knows how to real us in and get his way!

I can't wait to see what the next year holds in store for us.....(terrible twos???) YIKES!!!!

Good times, old friends!

I am so happy to have met up with some of you old buddies! I am so amazed at how many people came back to the reunion. It was great to see old friends and meet their spouses and kids.
I wish I would have kept in more contact with some of you more! I hope to do better over the next decade until we all meet up again! Too bad we have to wait so long!
I wished that I had more time to mingle and catch up with you all!
Everyone looked great and have wonderful kids! I had a great time!

Busy...busy!!!

I am not the greatest blogger (if you can't tell already!) I honestly don't really know how to make my page all cutesy like most bloggers. I need to one day just sit down an figure it all out!
But lives for the Reese family has been crazy!

We've broken Taeshaun of his binkey ("mimi") as he calls it! He doesn't have anything that he's really attached to, it was the "mimi". So for the longest time I tried every little thing. Hiding them, snipping off the tips, only letting him have them while he was sleeping, but there were those days where I was like "okay fine you can have it!". So we went to the horse races with some of Jed's buddies from work and we were driving home and Jed found one in the front seat and put it in his mouth. Then I rolled down the back window and told Tae that he and daddy should throw the mimi's out the window! At first Tae said no...then we call counted...one...two....three...and....out they went. YAY!!!! We all cheered and told Tae how big of a boy he was for doing that and promised a treat when he got home. But once he actually realized that it was truly gone. He was so sad! His poor little face was just devestated! He just turned his head, let out a big sign and tried not to cry! So to celebrate we took him to toys r us and he got to pick out a new toy for being such a big kid! He brough home a MR. Potato head!

Now we are just gearing up to head to good ol' b-town for the long awaited 10yr. HS reunion! I am hoping it's a good turnout and people come! Should be fun!

Then we will be celebrating Taeshaun's 2nd birthday! I can't believe he's already two! Time has gone for fast for us and he just keep suprising us with fun things!
He's talking more, running, kicking the soccer ball around with daddy, driving his "car" outside, mowing the lawn right along side of daddy!
