Merry Christmas

We are back from our holiday travel to Florida and NJ and had lots of fun with family. Santa was also very good to James and Emma.

James and Emma were truly exhausted after a fun morning of opening presents with cousins Peter and Anna. They had to rest up before making the trip into the city to see Aunt Louise for Christmas dinner.

Reilly's Visit Florida

James and Emma took their first flight to Florida to visit Grandma and Grandpa. The flight went relatively well. We have been having a great time and spent the day at the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa.

This became one of James and Emma's favorite places in the whole house.

Hazel, the new addition at Grandma and Grandpa's house, spent most of the trip hiding from James and Emma.

13 Months

James and Emma spent the day decorating a Christmas tree for the first time. It involved the word 'No' many, many, many times.

In developmental news:

1. James and Emma are now facing forward in their car seats and loving it.

2. Their favorite word is 'Ball' and subsequently one of their favorite toys as well.

3. No one has started walking yet. They stand for about 30 seconds and then end up crawling to get to what they want.

December 4th

It was a year ago that our family became whole when after four long weeks, Emma came home from the NICU.

James and Emma are reunited after not seeing each other for four weeks. I am not sure James was too happy about it at first.
