Going private

I am going to make my blog private now.  If you would like an invite, just let me know (even if you just blog stalk me, I probably blog stalk you too! :-) haha...  I didn't ever really feel a need to make this private, but lately I've been getting some strange visitors from some Nigerian websites.  Although, they may be my only readers now... :-)

Oh I have a blog??

I have had really good intentions of updating my blog for the past year or so..... BUT it hasn't happened.  I just spent an hour trying to figure out the new blog layout and updating some pictures and am now remembering why I haven't updated in so long.  Pictures are the best part of a post anyway, right?  So, here you go....  Hopefully, some exciting updates and new posts will follow!  Random pics of the last year :-)

PRE-SCHOOL!

So excited!!

Aubrey was not happy that she didn't get to go to pre-school

Brinley started pre-school! Yay! She was so excited for the first day and did really well. Brinley is super shy so I wasn't sure how the 1st day would go, but she was such a big girl! She got a little nervous when I dropped her off and as I started to walk away she said "but momma...." in a quivering little voice, but one of the teachers took her right in and she was fine. She got to be the leader the first day and has loved it ever since.

My sweet sisters-in-law were kind enough to throw me a baby shower for Ethan! They did such a great job and we got so many nice things for Ethan! Thank you SO much to everyone that helped and to everyone that came!

Aubrey's 2nd birthday!!

Aubrey in her Build-a-Bear box. My brother and sis-in-law got her a build-a-bear puppy that's named Mr. Cuddles. She still has to sleep with this every night! So cute!
Aubrey wanted a Dora cake for her birthday so this is my attempt. It is supposed to be Dora's dress, but it looks more like Dora jumping out of an orange volcano! Haha! I tried and she loved it so that's all that matters right?

Aubrey turned 2 on June 1st (yes I realize this was like 5 months ago, but whatever I'm trying to be better about blogging). We had a fun little family birthday party and a Dora cake. She is obsessed with Dora the Explorer! Aubrey is so sweet and so funny AND such a stinker at times (her cuteness makes up for that though). She is so free-spirited and friendly! She will talk to anyone! We just love this little peanut!

Some things about Aubrey:

-She is so tiny! She only weighs 23 lbs, but don't let her smallness fool you, she is feisty =)

-She LOVES Dora the Explorer

- She has the cutest little lisp "that'th amathing" (she always says this about anything she finds "amazing"!

- She loves puzzles and loves to count. She is very smart.

-She throws out random spanish words (thanks to Dora). If she is stuck somewhere or needs help she will yell "ayuda me" (help me). When she is finished doing something she says "I did it" "lo hicimos"

- Aubrey can talk very well and has been talking for a long time. When she was younger it was so hilarious to see this little tiny person saying full sentences. She didn't even look old enough to be able to say anything.

-She loves hats and loves to dress herself in the craziest outfits

-She loves to dance and sing

-She randomly tells me she loves me and gives me kisses for no apparent reason

-She likes to get into TROUBLE!! (probably the reason she randomly tells me she loves me and kisses me haha)

Miss Aubrey is full of personality and just melts our hearts. We love her to pieces!
